it's like almost anything. it can be if it's a part of a considered outfit.
but if you're gonna wear it with bootcut jeans and nike runners then nah.

electric wizard are great though.

if ur gonna wear metal band t's u gotta grow ur hair out and wear acid washed denim + motorcycle boots

in my opinion its fine as long as it fits with whatever you've got on, provided it isn't a "just copped this from Hot Topic" level of washed out pre-fab beatles shirt, but taste is subjective. I conclude that they're the least worst graphic tees

this. but if they're not either bought at a gig, with cash given straight to a band member, host or label head OR personally hand-screened bootlegs, you're a poser and please die

>but if they're not either bought at a gig, with cash given straight to a band member, host or label head OR personally hand-screened bootlegs, you're a poser and please die

Why? What if you just really like a band and just want to support them?

Do you go around telling people they can't wear a band shirt because they didn't get it at a concert? What's the difference in that and just buying it online?

dumbest shit ive ever heard 2bh fàm

>What's the difference in that and just buying it online?
there's an obvious difference in diy and industrially produced/made to order tees; ie heat transfer vs screenprint. anyone can tell the difference in person, industrial produced graphics simply don't look as good.

you should also be supporting your local scene/bands that tour through your scene, not just being an internet fan. why are you even repping a band you haven't seen play?

go and buy their records and cds at a store. tapes and merch are gig loot.

>concert
what are you, a cop?

Idk about you but the shirt I bought while seeing The Heavy Eyes live is the same exact quality as the one I bought online to wear to the show bruh.

>wearing a band's tee to their own show
yep, thanks for proving my point. jfc

>the one I bought online to wear to the show

>supporting a band is bad
>showing support for the band at their own show is bad
>wearing that band's merch to one of their own shows is bad

I don't understand you fucking faggots at all

They're right, dweeb.

How?

It's pretty uncool t b h
What if I get bootleg tees screen printed with an acquaintance, label logos and stuff like that

Is that something you would be against?

Veeky Forums will justify literally dressing like an anime ninja in public and wearing an $800 pair of curtains as pants but make fun of someone who wears a band tee to a concert

It pisses some people off but personally I think bootlegs are cool. imo authorship is an outdated paradigm but not everyone agrees. the heads of LACR and LIES for example have called out bootlegs of their tees on IG before - I don't get it, house/techno of all things is built around uncredited samples and there's nothing wrong with that.

what I'd recommend is, you should either at least fuck with the crew you're repping or they better be distant/big enough that they're not really a family and you aren't gonna be bumping into any of them at a local party. i.e. I wouldn't rep fake LACR when I'm in LA but I might the Screamers or say, Janus (who are berlin based), you know?
And also, don't just copy something they already have on a tee. go ahead and lift the designs from their records or whatever, but it's a chance to personally do it in the way you want while still repping them.

But yea, fucking go for it. I wish I still had access to a screenprinter

Try actually going out to shows more often. "Concerts" aren't just something you go out to once a year when either your dad's or highschool best friend's favorite band comes by to sell out your local amphitheater. If that's the life you're leading, no problem, but you've got no business wearing band tees, fucking poser.

>but you've got no business wearing band tees, fucking poser.
>this butthurt over one nerds t-shirt

Yeah that's what I thought, might get a cheeky UR tee this week fampai

So can I wear a shirt for a different band? What do you want me to do if I don't go to concerts often?

you sound like a cop

make one. normal UR tees with the big ass graphic on front look dumb. put it on the back t.b.h.

but yea respect
youtube.com/watch?v=eRq0M0mJbXk

>see band
>cop t
>wear that t to see another band
>cop t
>repeat

Not that shirt. Boughten them off ebay and other sites and the quality is straight garbage. Infact dont buy anything from EW cause theyre jews in general. Bongripper prints their stuff on Gildan Softstyle and while I despise gildan its definitely a quality shirt.

And nothing from sleep either, everything is on gildan or alstyle both of which are garbage.

I've had some head trauma so it takes effort to talk like a human. I am not putting in that effort now

OH HEY LOOK! THIS THREAD AGAIN..

meant fordoes it work cross genre? Can I wear a indy shirt to a rap?

works better

if i get beaten up wearing a modest mouse tea at a DXM concert I will report you

>thinking there's a difference between "concert"/"show"/"niggers playing music on a stage for others to hear"

Being this anal about semantics just proves that you're a fucking nigger and probably a Bernie cuck to boot. Stop caring so much about what other people think/do.

If someone wants to support a band that's just fine and dandy. And if you think there's a difference between the clothing sold at shows and the clothing sold by the band's merch website, you're a complete fucking idiot.

Mescalinum United sucks btw and you should be ashamed that you like such retarded noise.

look senpai you don't need to wear a band tee just because you're seeing a band play. just dress cool and be cool. if it's a rave or there'll be a mosh make sure your bottom layer is ventilated. like fuck. look at heidi's diary or something.

if it's noise, easy: just croppde black trousers (jeans if you're a loser), black tee and wool overcoat. hell wear that anywhere, no one fucking cares if you dress quiet, just don't be a tryhard yuppie sperg. get denim overalls from ben davis

yes that's the best thing. people only wear band shirts to shows ironically. but you still gotta rep good taste. kool keith, not kendrick lamar.

someone needs to end this dude

>the one I bought online to wear to the show

>implying you didn't just google search the cover
mescalinum united aren't even anything, it's just another traumer alias

and it's not my fault it's too hard for you. enjoy the poser life senpai

youtube.com/watch?v=AvDVfENblgI

could you share your opinions on raw black denim?

does noise mean the show is mainstream enough that meme clothes are okay?

actually what's the deal even with raw denim? I've never understood the fad. I don't think I know anyone who's owned any and anyone I've seen wearing it looked stiff and uncomfortable, but I assume that might just be because you wouldn't really notice it's raw if it's broken in so it's a biased sample.

but otherwise I've just seen pics online that look awkward and ugly, but then those are people showing off fades. what's your opinion?

>does noise mean the show is mainstream enough that meme clothes are okay
basically yea

It breaks in quick and is comfy. I got a pair yesterday that was 2% elastane, and it's already pretty comfy.

I'm gonna own these for a long time, seeing the fades over the years will be fun

yea but I mean why raw? what's all the hype about? is it just fabric/construction quality?

or is it just the fades? I've never even seen them looking good. show me a good fit that's cowboy or dad -core.

ur a fucking loser dude

...

the point of fades is to forever enshrine a bad fit?

not everyone is as deep into the memery as you

Me? Meme? I'm sitting here trying to catch up to raws

you're such a fucking faggot jesus christ
it's not that complicated you obnoxious shit, just buy merch you think looks good and represents your tastes
done.

represent your taste? more like your poor taste.
why are you using fashion to represent your music likes and not your fashion likes? do you really identify so heavily for with your personal curation that you need to signal it to everyone who sees you?

is this like one of those rei or ayanami things? Quick senpai: happy mondays or stone roses? choose wisely or you might be my senpai no longer.

jesus I don't know there will people like you out there. you're kind of a dick, man

>rei or ayanami
or asuka*

well? choose wisely

>implying screamadelica is poor
>why are you using fashion to represent your music likes and not your fashion likes?
I said "buy merch you think looks good"
>Rei or Asuka
Kaworu
>Happy Mondays or Stone Roses
Happy Mondays because Shaun Ryder is a god, as evidenced by youtube.com/watch?v=SZ3D7WUDDkA
>you're kind of a dick, man
I'm not the one lampooning others for supporting bands that they like just because they bought the merch online

Beat Happening is pretty great by the way

This is the only band shirt I will ever wear or buy. Bought straight from Vargs website, all profits to him

the fade looks gross though and it's an album cover that really doesn't suit clothing

>implying screamadelica is poor
I meant poor taste as in it's not in good taste to advertise your personal taste. Screamadelica is best album
>kaworu
Fuck me god tier answer

how can a man's taste be so solid yet his banter so weak?

wrong varg fag. black techno > black metal

that's right, you wouldn't

merch is a good sauce for designs, ive bought stuff i didn't know shit about before

>Hani: The Thread

what a terrible thread

>paying all that money at the merch table
>when you get just go on hellsheadbangers and get it for half that
