If I only got to wear two brands for the rest of my life it'd be Ted Baker and APC

Both these are well priced, inoffensive, versatile, good colour palettes, somewhat conservative (talking Ted Baker here) but not too much and without the "dadcore" implication.
Most importantly, putting together a good outfit from these makes you look like you dress well without being dressed by the internet or pop culture. From time to time I see some people in my circle memeing out in full designer and I groan internally
