PNS and NS are both mid-rise which basically has the same effect as high rise while looking less autistic

Both of of my PNS sit below the waist, its impossible to tuck with them. They have a similar rise to 511's.

Mid-rise and high rise are completely different. High rise sits at or above the waist, mid rise is lower and sits below, which both of my PNS do. Really disappointed at how low APC's rise, considering how pricey they are.

For everyone dying for higher rise jeans look at the Japanese brands. I think all of them except Oni and Pure Blue Japan have some thanks to the vintage obsession. Know your measurements and browse Denimio/Okayama Denim/Rakuten/etc.

I have a few pairs. They're pretty sturdy, moreso than any levis at that price. And the rise is definitely higher. They tend to fit looser though, so I try to stick with either the normal cowboy cuts or the slim ones.

fyi, there are no good high waisted slim tapered wrangler jeans, at least not anymore. the ones in that pic don't look slim or tapered anyway.
