How long will a pair of Vans old skools last if I don't skate?

How long will a pair of Vans old skools last if I don't skate?

Checked.

>non skating life ~ 2.5 years if you just go to school or something

>life of a skated vans shoe ~ couple kickflips.

get a pro model if you want to skate in it
just a few dollaros more

You can get like 1-2 years out of them BUT the materials are shit so the rubber will crack and there will be a lot of heel drag. You should definitely invest in a higher quality sneaker. If you're over 18 years old wearing vans is cringe-tier

wearing any sneakers if you're over 18 is cringe-tier

Pro model is way better in all possible ways even if you don't skate.

get the Pro version.

Available in the same colourway, except you have an extra cap across the midsole meaning it doesn't come away as easily, and you get a much comfier inner-sole. Plus the general build quality of the shoe is higher.

Here's my estimate for how long they'll last, up until they start looking noticeably like a hobo's shoes.

Old Skool: 1 – 1.5 years
Old Skool Pro: easily 2 – 3 years

Ok so these are acceptable to wear till you die but Vans aren't?

You guys are fucking ignorant idiots

I am 40 years old and i still wear Vans.
It's ok, you will be fine.
It's just simple sneakers, you can't go wrong with them.

>If you're over 18 years old wearing vans is cringe-tier

Tell me, who bullied you?

Mine are 6 year old, I ride around on my skate with them, they're still nice.

which last longer the canvas or other materials?

Which is better? Those or these?

both

hmmmm

>life of a skated vans shoe ~ single kickflip
fixed

Waste of a post

>buy real shoes and quit being such a faggot
Fixed ; )

>wearing vans
>ever

Must be nice being in 7th grade.

I miss looking down teachers shirts.
My gym teacher had the hairriest chest mmmmfuck yeah

Are all red vans effay?

...

>caring what shoes other people on a Syrian coal mining forum do

I just don't get it, do you walk around campus strictly in nice button downs, slacks, and oxfords/loafers?

Nobody bats an eye at classic sneakers, and it's almost impossible to find someone who isn't in a T-shirt who isn't wearing vans/cons

Is the classic 2tone checkerboard coming back? Those were autism core pretty recently. Idk if I'm ready.

nah, they are already back. all over ig and acronym used them in a product shoot.

I guess I have seen it around... I've just been phasing it out. I like black and white but the pattern is so uniform...

>having so little self awareness

I'm 22 years old and I have two pair of Vans.

Are just black and white vans authentics good?

...

this.

im 19 and have a pair of black old skool low tops, how is that cringe

just so everyone knows. Opinions like this are held by people who look for any reason to look down on others so that they can feel better about themselves
