Why are American barbers so shit?
I went to Iran and got a god tier haircut from Chad. I'm not sure how the fuck he did it but simply with a brush he made me look my best.
I went back to US and got the same cut and compared the pics and they're just nothing alike. I've switched so many stylists and none can do it as good.
Where do you get your hair cut? I tried Kenneth's and charles penzone and they're just not that good.

Just ask someone with a sweet haircut where they go. My friend generally cuts mine when she's not too busy, but I also have a regular stylist that I trust. He's the first guy I've been to that actually walked me through his reasoning and helped me to understand my own hair.

Because barbery is a skill you need to master, care about, and do for a while before you get really great at it. It's a trade in much of the world (not to say there aren't bad shops everywhere), not a fun side job you're keeping until your DJ career picks up (anytime now).
In the US most barbers/stylists don't give a fuck. They didn't get into it for a trade to make customers happy and take pride in their work, they got into because they thought cosmetology school would be a kewl way to express their individuality.
Most barbershops either suck because their owners cater to guys who don't care about getting a good haircut or they exist because they are gimmick factories which will offer you a whiskey or some bullshit with your bad haircut.
You just need to find someone who knows hair. I don't go to any barber shops in my area, I go to a salon owned by an older lady who's from HK and has owned a shop for like 30 years. The place is feminine as fuck, but she can do pretty much anything with hair. It's her business so she really cares, shes not just renting a chair in someone else's shop.

if you're in atlanta, there's a shop on moreland ave. There's a guy named Juston that is hella mean with the clippers.
keep trying different barbers till you find one you like. Then you have to be go into extreme detail about the cut you want everytime you go.
