You know, I'd have to watch it again to be able to tell you, but I do remember being very impressed with the back end of the series. There were a lot of things going on thematically with the characters that I enjoyed, and I vaguely remember crying at the end? I could be wrong.

That being said, if you weren't into it from the very beginning, it's pretty safe to say that putting yourself through the entire thing wouldn't do you much good. It might not be your kind of show.
