Is vanlife Veeky Forums?

Ok Veeky Forums , serious question here.
I am going to modify a box van like in this video.
If you met a guy with great fits but lived like this...would you be willing to date him?

Fast forward to about the 3 min mark for the cooler stuff.

I think the flaw in your idea is that you manage great fits lmao

It'd be easy to switch between many sex positions and locations quickly. So, yes, maybe... Where do you keep the clothing tho?

>Where do you keep the clothing tho?
Will put in a full length closet. Wont hold tons but enough and everything will be pressed and ready to go.

>sleeping in walmart parking lots.

I'd do it. Its unique and roadtrips are my thing, user.
It'd be cool to see how effay the van itself would be though.

i equate someone who lives in a van to someone who spends all their money prepping.

just buy a motor home, my dude. don't just try to artificially make yourself interesting by living in a tricked out van.

>don't just try to artificially make yourself interesting by living in a tricked out van.

The big motivators here are the fact that I spend 1600 bucks a month on housing and have all the skills to make this thing cool because of years restoring houses and my woodworking hobby.
I can telecommute to work.
Plan to visit all my old college friends while working more or less full time.
Work three tens.
Drive 2 days to somewhere cool.
Work three tens.
Head to the lake.

IMO i feel like its something that's lose it's spark after a couple of weeks, not from a third person perspective but from actually living there. It'd be cool for a while but i think I'd miss the touches of an actual house

Max effay on the inside . Combination of Dwell magazine and Sunset.
Have not decided on the outside though.

i was planning this for a while

>buy 3.5tonne van, mercedes sprinter or something similar
>kit it out with everything i need, gas hob, sink/shower, bed etc etc
>travel the world for a while with my savings, only expenses being food and fuel

then realised how hard it is to get outside of europe by driving overland, never mind america/australia

so i am just putting this idea on the backburner and backpacking with my savings, will definitely be doing this in the future though to explore all of europe in the best way possible

We could do an exchange. You drive my van around america for a month and I will drive yours around europe

In Europe it would be pretty hard I suppose but in America traveling overland would be easy as fuck. Large highways basically everywhere and the size of the van doesn't matter because most cars here are large and the cities/roads are built to accommodate them.

not even fucking slightly

So you would not have sex with a van dweller is what you are saying.

that would be awesome actually, but i wont be doing it for a few years yet, good idea though, will keep it in mind

yea plus there is so much to see in america because of its size and its easily accessible

I currently live in a Sprinter van.

Previously a Volvo XC70.

Ask me anything.

This is actual fucking autism

Is you sprinter decked out or just a mattress in the back?
What do you do with all the money you save?
Do you travel or live in one city.

...

...

bet.

Very decked out, no kitchen but I do have a shower & loo with large grey and black water tanks.

I lumber around my European city. Travel to work by bike, or if I'm staying longer in the same spot: keep the Volvo nearby.

I only use it for sleeping/showering. Any other activate happens outside. If I do eat inside it's a cold salad.

Veeky Forums here. I'd hangout with you, no homo.

I also (safely (so far)) invest the vast lump sums I save (I have quite a good job) so I can buy a proper home a few years down the road.

Does anyone know I life this way?
No.

I don't care if he lives in a closet but fuck the van guy. Only small cars are Veeky Forums

>Does anyone know I life this way?
>No.
How the heck do you manage that?
Dont your friends get suspicious ?

Implying he has friends

He has money and fits.
How could he not have friends ?

Nope, I just tell them I'm renovating my place.
>for the past 3 years.

I'm moving to another city for a better job, that's by the coast so I will probably get a boat then, boat will cost more but also be easier to life with.

I have a few.

Do it, OP.

Vandwelling is probably the most practical way to live in the developed world unless you have a very large income.

Saving 1600 bucks a month adds up pretty fast as long as you dont blow it.

Like, if it's a very well made van I don't think I'd mind too much
But if it was a shitty "I ain't got no where else to go" van, then keep on going buddy

t will be impressive or I wont do it.
I worked in the design industry for years and can source great fabrics and stuff.

Are you a girl?

Gtfo normie go back to rich kids of beverly hills

By "dates" you mean abducted children hanging from piano wire in your late model serial killer mobile, right?

It aint like that no more
