So I have this vintage surplus pants and military boots (pic related).
Any suggestions what kind of jacket would work good with it? Also I don't want full on cosplay, but rather something more urban.

Looking for pants that would be a material that doesn't look stupid against combat boots / a military parka and all.
I was looking at BDUs but the pockets are annoying senpai.

Well yeah, wz. 68, the kind used by fire department. They are awesome, I wouldn't actually cut them, tho I have like 3 pairs of those, but the other two are sadly stained with some kind of grease

I figured that much. The thing is what kind of jacket would work best with it. Bulky, loose, skinny, long, short? I don't really know what silhouette I should aim for with this kind of pants.

Yes, I'm in Poland. I got them from my father, he served in fire department instead of compulsory military service.
Well, I don't really remember how badly they're stained and I don't have them at my place now.
They're tucked somewhere in my father's basement. Tho I'm sure there were some pretty visible stains that wouldn't go off even in wash.

Look at military surplus sites, but if you want combat boots that are new they're like 150 USD usually, used surplus / older surplus is cheaper of course. For that use eBay

M05 combat boots are not even close to Veeky Forums. From another angle they look very bulky and bubbly barbie shoes. They are built on the same platform as safety shoes by the manufacturer.
I'm not at home but compared to my winter leather boots my M05 look huge and in a bad way.
