Music Thread

Ey Veeky Forums, what do you listen to?

I've been struggling with finding nice musics, and I'm sure others have too, so let's share.

I've got Veeky Forums to thank for hearing pic related.

Just copped the new Gucci mane and whitechapel albums for my birthday.

happy birthday user :)

Don't know if he can be considered effay, but I really like the whole Ology album that Gallant's put out.
There's not a track on it that I feel compelled to skip.

Honestly, for nice some chill Veeky Forums music

Lorde - youtube.com/watch?v=D8Ymd-OCucs

Lana Del Rey - youtube.com/watch?v=JRWox-i6aAk

Disclosure - youtube.com/watch?v=HS2hspTsTl8

London Grammar - youtube.com/watch?v=nMEHJPuggHQ

if you want rap/hip hop

then go with

Kendrick Lamar
J.Cole

So good. Been loving this album.

Been listening to the new Yachty mixtape and the new Periphery album a lot the last week. Both are fantastic. Jamming the new Bones tape now.

damn i was the one who posted this:

but this Gallant guy is pretty sick, its like Discloure/London Grammar which is what i like

thanks for posting!

man, Veeky Forums has such worse taste than /mu/ somehow

post some good shit then

Thank you. It means a lot

I listen $uicideboy$, bones and playboi carti

Emancipator is nice and chill. It's all instrumentals and beats.

youtube.com/watch?v=PiuWCJ6jALQ

/mu/ is for the most part overshadowed by memes. It was ok a couple of years ago but now its basically overrun by people like

you should listen to more hip hop

Here are a few some you can find on soundcloud others are pretty known and can be found streaming
Geotheory
ALVY
Porches
Roosevelt
Monte booker
Montel2099
Medasin
Sam gellaitry
Blood orange
Just a few in no order

I don't browse /mu/ crossposter

GET THE FUCK OUT MY BOARD REPORT SAGE

I don't really either. I occasionally browse rym and bandcamp for new releases

I only listened to Roosevelt and Geotheory, really good, but soundcloud sucks now for listening to songs offline.

here's a chart that was made. some of it is bad and jokey, but it's an ok list

here it is in slightly higher res

With love from east Germany

Techno interests me

Right now, lots of The Smiths/Morrissey, Wilco, Schoolboy Q, XTC, The Replacements, Andy Shauf, Broken Social Scene, and Pavement

name of the albums of those buildings covers stuff?

When i want to listen to music i use the radio station with the most patrician music I can get on my phone's
I listen to music without knowing who is the artist

This is Veeky Forums enough for me

pretty good, better than most of thread

Anderson .paak and other random songs on souncdloud that have that sort of feel

youtu.be/yA0I7-vW22s

What a solid guy. Thank for posting, m80

Hyukoh is pretty good and his videos are very nice. He is Korean so that might be downside for some; that you can't understand him. Although on his albums most songs are in english

This is kewl, thanks for recommending dude. The main intro riff in WI ING WI ING sounds so familiar, can't put my finger on where I've heard it before

Guccimane
Chance the rapper
Young Thug
Kodak Black
Skepta
Most Def
Run the Jewels

it is a jazzy chord; locked c I think. So you might have heard it from something else jazzy and or what not.
Also his most popular song :

Pink floyds debut is probably my favorite album of all time. Ive also been listening to the avalanches new record maybe once a day. Safe as milk by captain beefheart and his magic band is quite enjoyable as well.

Top fucking taste. King Gizzard already had some awesome stuff but Nonagon Infinity instantly jumped to one of my faviourite releases ever. The way the made the songs blend is utterly amazing.

I just love how Road Train blends perfectly into Robot Stop meaning the album loops forever, so fucking cool
