I just had this hair color. Salon could charge around a hundred dollars for that. My gf did it for me for (accounting for usage of her bleach bucket stuff), $1.67 or so, plus the toner which hovers around six or seven dollars, and then coconut oil afterwards, labor free.

So for me it makes sense, probably not you
