Why is it part of China?
How come Mao was able to get Muslim warlords on board, and when did the Muslim consensus in China start turning against the government?
Also, could Xinjiang theoretically function as an autonomous nationstate?

All shitposting about the actual qualities of the J-31 aside, it does look pretty aesthetic.
It lost.
Because the KMT were, despite revisionist history propaganda, total assholes that almost every minority hated. Remember they were called the "Nationalists" for a reason.
Theoretically? Yes. Practically? No.
It's already half Han.
Looking scary is worth a lot in capability. That's a fact.
That's not the J-31 you STUPID fuck. The J-31 is the monkey model export bait F-35 ripoff that doesn't even use baked in stealth materials but 90s tier pain instead.
The J-20 (pictured) is legit tho. Probably not the same class as the F-22 but at least it will be made unlike the Pak-fa
Ah, sorry
Arr 5th gen rook arike
Yup
pic related is J-31
I think the dark colour scheme plays a large part in 5th gen Chinese jets
Quick factoid.
J-20 is the 5th gen they are building 300-400 of.
J-31 is looking like it's not going to be developed.
OP is J-20. (Which is superior and 5th gen)
There was that one silvery paintjob that looked hella slick.
>J-31 is looking like it's not going to be developed.
Probably for the best.
>300-400
Jesus
When the chinks are done colonizing the place it will be, worry not.
By comparison, the US only has 120 Raptors, and the Russians are only getting 40 something PAK-FA's.
The newest are grey with a gold canopy.
China grows larger
Not 40, something like 12.
Also 400 is over the lifetime, and they still cant power them with indigenous engines. Not having a domestic civilian aircraft building industry really hurt them.
Are you kidding? That looks retarded, it's like if the Ace Combat guys were allowed to design their dumbass planes IRL.
>China grows larger
US has 150 active raptors
Eventually in 2060, also 2300 F-35's
More likely 1,800 or so.
China will have 300-400 of these and their next 6th gen will likely be in even higher numbers. China is mostly competing with Japan and shitholes to the southeast.
The Americans are getting a thousand something F-35's too.
You have terrible taste in airplanes. The J-20 looks great, especially seeing the control surfaces in motion.
>AC
>dumbass planes
hol up
they look cool as fuck
Umm nice bait. The Russians already have 12. They already have 40 FRM on order. Likely 120 or so in the end.
>Also 400 is over the lifetime, and they still cant power them with indigenous engines.
They have engine production issues. Then again, the J-11B is flying with domestic engines and so is the J-17.
I just wonder if the Chinese will risk 5th gens when the SU-35's AL-31B engines just got sold to them. (It'll most likely go on the J-20).
>Not having a domestic civilian aircraft building industry really hurt them.
They are producing their own narrow body mid range commerical aircraft. Has like 490 orders.
Then again, there's a danger in trying to subsidize a high high tech industry when Boeing and Airbus have deeper pockets and market control.
It'll be slow going for the Chinese plane makers. But they'll get there.
Nigga that's the same design as like 10 different modern aircraft.
Such a good fucking game. So prescient for today's world.
/aceg/ go back to being ded
>However, as announced by Russia’s MoD last month, the production will be slowed down and the initial order cut to 12 jets: the nation’s economy has deteriorated and the aircraft troubled development and increasing costs have persuaded the Russian Air Force to retain their large fleets of fourth-generation Sukhoi Su-27SM and Su-35S to obviate to the reduced amount of frontline next generation fighter jets.

Yeah check the news

Canards are a very EU thing and make aircraft look cooler. Deal with it.
