I have 11 inch biceps due to being a low test fuccboi, and every t-shirt I have ever owned that isn't skin tight on my torso and chest has made my arms look even smaller as there is too much material there, resulting in a sort of wing effect (pic related).
Is there any website or brand (preferably available to the uk) that lists arm sizes for t-shirts, or does anyone have any tips for finding t-shirts that don't accentuate my puny arms?
Oliver Taylor
Just buy tshirts with longer sleeve length. Box t-shirts typically run a tad wider but have a longer length sleeve, try sizing down.
Angel Bailey
if you dislike your puny arms maybe you should try physical activity
Ryan Nelson

Alexander Allen
Because the self-esteem boost that not feeling self-conscious every time I step out of the house in a t-shirt for however long it will take until I can fill out a sleeve outweighs the monetary cost of buying a few t-shirts
Gavin Nelson
buy one size up and roll up the sleeves 3 times. that's what I did when i went from 118lbs to 145lbs
Joshua Bell
I have the same problem.
I usually just ignore it since there is not anything I can do clothing wise.
On first dates I wear a long sleeve though.

why would you want tight t-shirts if you're self conscious of your arms/being skinny? there's a reason gym bros wear super tight clothes, because it doesn't leave anything to the imagination. get some oversized/boxy fits and own the skinny look until you've been to the gym desu
Christian Brown
>there's a reason gym bros wear super tight clothes, because it doesn't leave anything to the imagination
It also looks fucking terrible because skin tight shirt + lifting legs will make you look like your COM is at your hips rather than your abdomen. Gym bros who wear tight shirts look 2-4" shorter than they actually are. It's not a good look.
Luis Miller
define tight
Jaxson Young
shirts should only be supported by your traps and shoulders. obviously the best fitting shirt is one that has the seems right at, or slightly over, your shoulders, never under.
You never want your hips to appear wider than your shoulders.
Joshua Gray
Yeah, but sleeves should be flush on tees and polos. Just because a sleeve is flush to your arm doesn't make it tight elsewhere. Loose sleeves look like shit.
Angel Hill
>Loose sleeves look like shit.
Not really. Pic related isn't bad, would still look better if sized up 1. Tight shirts inherently make your upper body look thinner, it's a good look on girls, not guys.
Noah Martin
Not him, but I feel like one size up would be too big. I'm basically a perfectly "average male" in every way physically and I have like 2 shirts max that are really shaped like my body. The rest are too long, too boxy, or too tight. If I could afford a sewing machine I'd look into those youtube videos on fitting your own shirts.
Gabriel Thompson
That's incredibly wrong. If you had any v taper or any mass whatsoever you would know that.
Let me explain. If you size up past your shoulders, which already have been widened, and you have a small waist you will look frumpy. All that does is widen your proportions which you don't need to widen because you're already wide. Wide sleeves sit poorly on people with larger arms, it's why they generally get rolled up.
You dress for being skinny and it isn't applicable to people who are bigger. You don't see larger actors dressing that way because it looks like shit on that body type.
Carson Rodriguez
>I'm basically a perfectly "average male" in every way physically
We're talking about people who lift and have muscular legs. Too many guys who lift have terrible proportions regarding fit, because they accentuate their hips by sizing down on shirts and making their upper body look smaller than it is, also they end up looking shorter.
Post a pic of a muscular guy with a good fit. guaranteed he's not wearing a tight shirt. You're wrong.
Aaron Lopez
...
Joshua Phillips

All of these fits obstruct the problem, none of these fits show proportions.
I made a lil infographic to help you fags.

You can't just go to the gym an expect to blow up. You gotta eat.
Sebastian Bell
Post one remotely muscular person who looks good in a baggy tee shirt.
Sleeves must go past delt and not be rolled up.
That streetwear looks like dogshit.
Michael Green
1 looks like utter shit, 2 doesn't matter because 99.99% of the population isn't on roids.
As a natural lifter you will never look like 2 and thus never have the problems he has, and if you dress like 1 you will look like shit unless you're going for a super specific look in a very casual setting.
Brandon Moore
>As a natural lifter you will never look like 2 and thus never have the problems he has
I bet my dick is thicker than your wrist, don't act like you know shit about lifting.
Post a muscular guy in a tight shirt that fits good. Still waiting. You've only posted fits that hide the guys hips so he doesn't look like a fucking fertile breeding bitch.
Juan Ross
do... do you actually think one looks better than two?
Hunter Ross
all three of those are better than your example.
Still waiting
Nathan Young
If you like baby birthing hips on guys I guess it's better for you.
Ok nice input
Henry Collins
The dude probably owns a supreme hat
Tyler Jackson
I've been lifting casually for a long time, here's an admitedly old picture. I do have thin wrists but I could never compete with your dick.
You will never look like 2 natty, so if you're not pinning you shouldn't dress baggy to hide the weird delts and shoulders.
Oliver Bailey
do you have pectus?
Jonathan Long
Post a fit, if you wear tight shirts I bet it looks terrible, especially with pectus excavatum.
If you wear tight shirts your proportions will look shit if you lift (legs incl) period. Prove me wrong.
Gavin Diaz
btw I'm about your size also and have PE so I feel you there, but please, post a fit cause I can promise you tight shirts do not look good on guys who lift full body. It's a basic proportion issue.
Henry King
I never wear just a tee shirt so here is the closest I have
Jacob Brown
>shirt fits just right on the shoulders
Looks good, exactly what I've been saying, the seams are right at the shoulder.
Justin Peterson
When have they not been in any of my 4 examples?
Nathan Butler
Obviously, but it's not as bad as the usual cases people post about.
I don't think I have pictures in t-shirts, the traps barely show without a pump, as do shoulders.
And how would you EVER be able to tell someone has pectus with a t-shirt on?
John Richardson
>And how would you EVER be able to tell someone has pectus with a t-shirt on?
I have PE and I can tell. PE usually comes with rib flare, yours doesn't, but I can tell because I have it too.
Pecs are slightly misshapen and inward facing, stomach is accentuated compared to lower chest. It's hard to tell, but since I've got it I can notice it instantly on others, especially when the shirt is too tight.
The gosling example might be okay cause of the seams, but we can't see his proportions so it's hard to tell. His legs aren't particularly muscular.
Jonathan Barnes
His hips are way smaller than his shoulders, that's the ratio that makes me think "birthing hips". If you have a problem with the circumference of his quads that's fine, but his hips look fine to me.
desu I actually hate the style of both the people pictured, but looking only at the fit I see a person shaped like some sort of rectangular pillow on the left and a person that looks man-shaped on the right.
Parker Rivera
>but looking only at the fit I see a person shaped like some sort of rectangular pillow on the left and a person that looks man-shaped on the right.
one is an example of a good silhouette, and one is an example of a bad one, with a non-human COM. Even though the guy on the right is probably 5" taller his proportions make him look shorter than the guy on the left.
it's basic proportions man come on.
Matthew Miller
I disagree, the guy on the left is far too obviously 5'9" while the guy on the right looks 6'3".
Nolan Sanders
>far too obviously 5'9" while the guy on the right looks 6'3".
Agreed but the fit on the right has terrible proportions that make him appear shorter.
Noah Jones
Nah, his legs are quite obviously long and so is his torso. His head also looks small proportionally. If he were to wear baggy clothes he would just be a giant blob with a tiny head.
May as well be builtfat at that point rather than lean.
Not only that but tall guys don't really have to worry about *looking* short based on their clothing because it's not as though people can make that mistake in person.
Charles Sanchez
>Not only that but tall guys don't really have to worry about *looking* short based on their clothing because it's not as though people can make that mistake in person.
Yeah tight clothes don't actually make you shorter, they just make you look shorter and bad! Great observation.
Samuel King
not arguing your points there, I just think that even though he "looks shorter" proportionally, he still looks more attractive than boxy shirt guy. In fact, looking closer I'd say boxy shirt guy is probably in fine shape, but that outfit actually makes him look worse than he is. I guess silhouette is more important to me than "looking tall", because ultimately if you're tall your tall. A skinny short guy isn't going to look tall, but he could at least do his body shape justice.
Anyway, I was mainly taking issue with what you were saying about his hips. His legs are pretty big, and that's awkward, but he doesn't look womanly or have birthing hips imo.
Angel James
I don't think it looks bad. A bit man-slutty, but not objectively bad. Tall people can afford to look shorter for the sake of looking wider and therefore even bigger. Fitted clothing is a must unless you want to look like a streetwear kiddo with a long baggy tee.
Robert Brown
>His legs are pretty big, and that's awkward, but he doesn't look womanly or have birthing hips imo. > I guess silhouette is more important to me than "looking tall" >but that outfit actually makes him look worse than he is
left - COM at the abdomen, fine for a healthy mscular man
right - COM at the hips, fine for a healthy, breeding woman
Xavier Cooper
You left out the part where mens shoulders are still much wider than their hips.
As long as your shoulders are wider than your hips then I don't see the problem.
And if you have higher waisted pants that break up your top and bottom it is even less of an issue because there isn't a band around your hips accentuating them.
Carter Phillips
>As long as your shoulders are wider than your hips then I don't see the problem.
but your hips LOOK wider when you wear a shirt that's tight on your shoulders/waist
I see you drew the lines down, implying the hips aren't as wide as the shoulders but take a look again at the silhouette.
Accentuated waist is bad, it gives you an hourglass shape which makes your COM look lower than it actually is which is a sign of healthy breeding women or obese people.
Oliver Harris
You must have particularly wide hips to care that much. I suggest wearing higher waisted pants. They help with this.
Luke Jenkins
>You must have particularly wide hips to care that much
No it's about the quads, and center of mass silhouette, not necessarily the hips. We're talking about guys who lift full body. Slim fit shirts make the torso look more thin, which coupled with lifting legs, makes your thighs look huge compared to the torso, which makes your torso look shorter, your COM look lower, and overall fucks up your proportions.
Tyler Davis
This is what the right guys silhouette would look like wearing the left guys clothes.
Aiden Rodriguez
I've literally never in my life heard someone say "haha, look at the COM on that faggot". Like seriously, his waist is thinner than his shoulders, and big legs are not the same thing as big hips. And it's obvious in the picture. But at this point there's not even any point in arguing, you just seem to have some kind of weird fixation on a persons center of mass (or at least your perception of it)
And I still think poncho man on the left looks shitty in his ill fitting sack of a shirt
(reply before this one was a different person btw)
Chase Hughes
Why did you fill in his torso? he's wearing a skin tight shirt not football pads you fuckin idiot. lol
Silhouette and proportion is literally 99% of a fit.
Adam Perez
Because that's how baggy tee shirts fit. If you buy them to fit off your shoulders, as you say, then they are waaaaaay too wide at the waist. That is how an xxl would fit that man. Your redraw actually looks worse than mine which is funny.
Owen Collins
>I've been going to the gym for three months and have barely noticed a change >three months >barely noticed a change
NO FUCKING SHIT. Rome wasn't build in one day. 3 months is fucking nothing!
Ethan Bennett
>what I drew is worse
yeah tight shirts create an awful silhouette on built guys thats the point.
Oliver Morris
Oh, I see what you were trying to attempt
let me show you what actually happens.
Blake White
Yeah and that looks bad. His abdomen is considerably slimmer than his hips.
You think he is fertile? Would he give birth to a strong son? With those hips he must be.
Square/rectangular is manly. Curves are for women.
Alexander Jackson
With those shoulders? Yes. Here let me show you something.
Notice that his shoulders
the things at the top of his torso
are wider
than
his hips
Justin Long
See those red lines that go from his upper chest, then across empty space, then down to his bulging, curvy hips?
Yeah that looks bad on guys.
Jason Nguyen
I think you're just insecure
and you know what's really cool
those don't exist from the back thanks to lats
Landon Johnson
suh girl love ur curves
it's a good thing you're a 110lb bitch boy so you'll never look as bad as you want to.
Jacob Watson
the "wing effect" is due to the pattern, if laid flat it will most likely look like a fat letter T you want to get t shirts that have the sleeves pointing down when laid flat
Cooper Lee
I am and 200lbs
sorry you have particularly wide hips and pectus bro
Owen Gonzalez
>sorry you have particularly wide hips and pectus bro
Sorry you can't understand basics like center of mass, silhouette, and proportion. I bet you look like absolute shit, to match your low IQ
Christian Myers
Whoa
chill out dude
post a fit if you wanna throw down
Samuel Bailey
Woah bro I thought you were just saying skin tight shirts look good on men, then you post a fit with a well-fitting shirt. What the fuck were we just arguing over? You don't even do what you claim "looks good" fuckin idiot.
Adam Parker
I don't just wear tee shirts unless I'm going to the gym. But I don't wear ridiculously baggy ones. They should be fitted.
Isaiah White
So you were just telling me that a silhouette that accentuates your hips, making your abdomen looks small is a good look, but you don't do it?
Sick fucking logic.
Aaron Murphy
>Do you think I look fertile in this? We have truly learned to transcend fashion on this board.
Connor Clark
SUPER SIMPLE FIX: 1. Turn shit inside out 2. Sew line by hand or mechanizer, from armpit to end of sleeve.
Also I'm a manledoxxen skinnyfag wears tailored Tees and they are crucial for proportions if you are a small guy. So get taht shit t'alieured if you can't do it yourself.
Noah Morgan
PROTIP: get it tailored "too short" on purpose. not to the point of showing off your bellybutton, but just so that it hits in the middle of the belt width area of your jeans.
Hunter Gray
I still don't see what you mean
I'm 6'2 and stopped working legs long ago so my pants would continue fitting though
Ayden Johnson
Getting it tailored "too short" will make your upper body look more square/box rather than long thin rectangle, emphasizes masculine shape a little bit more to hide long thin noodle physique
Brandon White
for first 4 months of gym I had no results, now every monyh I get slightly larger, but I have a good skeleton so I dont have the problem you have.
Just eat and lift
Michael Diaz
I've been lifting for 9 years and MINIMAL results. I'm constantly hungry and pretty sure my metabolism is limiting my grofe.
Tried eating like creazy for a couple months and gained some weight, but my entire day was eating and pooping. I basically poop everything out without absorbing it prbably is what's going on
I srsly wish I was a slow metabolism average-fag obese Americunt so I could at least gain some mass. It sucks when you look so small/skinny as a man because you look like a kid, ppl don't take you srsly or give you the same respect if you simply had a larger frame and seemed more formidable instead of a willowy wisp of paper anyone can blow out the way
Kevin Reyes
>I still don't see what you mean
I'll try one more time.
Thanks for posting a nice manly shirt fit user, good proportions and rectangular silhouette. Good job.
Luis Perez
My shirt is what I mean by fitted. It is 5% spandex so it comes in at the waist and is fitted in the arms. This is the ideal tee fit for me. The shoulder seams are where they should be. But it's not a fucking BOX with gigantic long sleeves.
Thomas Ortiz
I'm not saying it should be a BOX I'm saying it shouldn't hug your waist and hips. How hard is that to understand?
Lucas Wright
Because your example is a gigantic box with huge sleeves.
Gavin Williams
I poop twice a day bro, pee 5-7 times, but still went from 58 to 63 kilos in three months without any supplements. But then again I'm 19 so my hormones are at an all time high.
Have you thought about.. juice?
Jordan Phillips
What about other user example?
Jonathan Rivera
Looks fine for a small guy to me. Classic 50s look to it. I just despise oversized streetwear tees. I do wear oversized tees occasionally but I roll the sleeves and balance them with baggier pants.
Adrian Russell
>Looks fine for a small guy to me
right and if he lifted, he'd have to size up. I don't care "what you dislike" I'm telling you what is good and what isn't. Your fits are fine, but you also don't look like a fucking retard in a tiny shirt, like you're trying to tell me looks good.
Kayden Parker
None of my examples really look like that. Maybe hugh a bit, but the dude can pull it off. I get who you're imagining now though. The douche in the babby gap shirt. No, I just mean a properly fitted NOT BAGGY shirt. Tighter in the shoulders and chest but looser at the waist falling to just above the hips about halfway down the fly. Not a shirt two sizes too small, a shirt the right size.
