And strangely enough, it isnt a question on fashion, despite being on a fashion board. I dont care what the wallet looks like. I just assume people on this board would know more about wallets than any other board.
Im looking for a thin, small wallet that I can fit in my front pocket. I try to carry as less as possible, so something that carries cards and folded cash. Just something small that can fit in a front pocket, im tired of sitting on wallets all the time. It's also kind of a paranoia thing, having my wallet behind me where anyone can grab.
Muh nigga. Using bellroy high line right now and it fits my skinny jeans
Hudson Williams
>They fell for the Bellroy meme.
>Gigantically logo'd, poorly stitched and poorly constructed wallets from shitty leather with an aggressive online market campaign.
They get rave reviews but that's from idiots who bought their first 'real' wallet after their high-school duct-tape or bad motherfucker wallet finally vaporised in a cloud of dust, musky ball sweat and teenage angst.
They use fold-over edges, a technique so simple and weak that if an exotic four year old boy in Bangladesh would show it to his boss he would be slapped around the factory with a whip and get relegated to the dye-pit.
Bellroy sucks dicks.

my bellroy wallet doesn't have a logo
it says "bellroy" really small in one corner but to be honest i can hardly read it
seems like someone hopped on the "i hate it because it's popular" meme train, good riddance!
Alexander Howard
No, I have just one wallet, bespoke by an old French man who used to work for Hermes. He also makes perfect belts.
Henry Morales
I don't know anything about their marketing campaign. I saw one in a bookstore one day and I bought it.
I've had better quality wallets, but they're too bulky, too stiff, have too many card sleeves, some shitty flap that serves no purpose but to make it thicker, etc.
I also don't care for having an indestructible wallet if it destroys my cards and destroys my back from sitting down on it.
What I like about the Bellroy is that they are soft and only as big as they need to be. My Bellroy bifold is thinner than most card holders that don't even hold bills.
Alexander Morris
Enjoy your one pound leather brick credit card crusher.

I've been hating on Bellroy the moment I first held one in my hands. The leather is decent for the price but the construction is poor. They use simple fold over edges such as on the left here. That's a weak, poor construction and a sign of cost cutting and being cheap.
Yeah it makes the wallet thinner by introducing a weak as fuck construction.
A proper construction should have a double fold over with internal burnishing.
Jonathan Parker
They have a 3 year warranty
If I'm using the thing for 3 years and it's good then I am satisfied
Are you one of those memelords that inherits his grandpa's boots and shouts at everyone who can afford new boots and doesn't wear the same pair all their life?
Jaxson Evans
No I bought my bespoke shit myself. It's infinitely better made then that Bellboy crap. It's a light simple billfold with stingray outer and full grain deer skin internally. It's 8 years old and still looks perfect, the harder stingray leather protects it without becoming bulky or uncomfortable in tight pants.
Stop convincing yourself that your first big-boy wallet made in china or India is so good just because you are not used to it.
Jaxon Watson
>then
he can't even spell properly!
Hunter Allen
A fossilized turd will last 8 years too, but that doesn't mean I'd enjoy having to carry one in my back pocket every day of my life. Same goes ugly ass stingray leather.
Elijah Hill
>Stingray leather wallet
Easton Morgan
you know bellroy isn't the only maker capable of making a wallet that's not gigantic and thick, right?
Jaxson Harris
That is dope as fuck
Justin Gray
name five and post images with measurements so we can properly compare them
Julian Murphy
I'm not a native speaker. No, but you are rocking pleb core in the meantime.
Carson Torres
Nope
Camden Davis
>I'm not a native speaker
That's not a valid excuse
Jordan Clark
I've looked at millions of slim wallets. Most of them are either not a bifold (see ) or are some shitty paper wallet. The thinnest bifold I've found is Bellroy.
If there's a better bifold that's just as thin, I'd be happy to look at it, but I'm seen one.
Tyler Howard
>haven't seen one.
Samuel Wright
>No, but you are rocking pleb core in the meantime. Doesn't matter. It's the wallet I've always wanted, and now I have it. Why doesn't it trigger you so much that somebody is making a product that people like and that wallet makers were too stupid to realize there was a market for?
Kayden Collins
I got this card holder. The middle opens up for cash. Any coins I just stash away in the coin pocket in my jeans. It's Alton Brown btw, they sell a million different wallets.
Btw, I can't believe that people actually put their wallets in their back pocket at all. Wtf.
Anthony Harris
My capybara wallet. Tough to tell its capybara because of a lot of use, though.
What happened to that hand? Or is it just shopped?
Ethan Sullivan
Forgot pic. I need a bigger one, though, and this is falling apart...
Oliver Turner
looking for a quality bi-fold. don't mind shelling out a bit or getting an artisan one.
I bought one of these in tan (which is no longer available) over a year ago. Stitching has held up well, money never falls out of the middle pocket, and it holds all my cards easily.
And its 9 bucks.
Luke Reed
Really quality leather. It's my favorite wallet I've owned.
Jackson Morris
I did buy it after seeing an online ad (old one, used on eBay, with a Vanderbilt logo stamped on the front), not gonna bullshit I've been very happy with it so far But I've also bought two new bellroys, one of which I didn't like at all. In retrospect, I like my slim sleeve so much that I'm to stubborn to try anything else. I got a bellroy pocket wallet just to try out and have been using that for a year. It still looks brand new and I have it organized exactly how I like, so right now I'm staying with it. But while driving a long distance or otherwise sitting for a long time I still take my wallet out of my pocket cuz it's uncomfortable. No matter how thin the wallet is the cards I carry are still bulky
John Brown
is this a good option? it only has one pocket. Does anyone has experience with these kinda wallets?
Evan Barnes
Peanut butter with holes poked in it
Noah Rogers
Op here.
Bellroys look convincing. I also like Tanner Goods Journeyman. As does this But the most important question for me is: can it fit in your front pocket with no problem? If bellroys can do that, I will probably go with one of those because they seem to have more areas to store stuff than the Tanners.
But I question if this one is any better than the Tanners? I mean for one it comes in different colors.
Parker Foster
Anyone know of a good brand of leather care products to keep my wallet nice?
>Just something small that can fit in a front pocket, im tired of sitting on wallets all the time.
And here I've always kept my full size bifold wallet in my front pocket along with my keys.
Asher Morales

>11703826 clean with saddle soap and a tooth brush polish with some boot polish top is off with a bit of leather protector.
Shit is good for boots, wallets, baseball gloves
ez
Jose Jones
Yeah of course it can. It's tiny. Just bigger than a credit card. It's sagebrown btw not alton brown.
Why do people put their wallets in their back pocket? Am I autistic for thinking this is a terrible idea?
Ian Evans
Collonil (best option) Boot Black Horse Oil if you're looking to spend 50 bucks and completely revitalize worn, beaten up leather
Evan Green
y/n?
Caleb Long
What do you guys think about this wallet? I think I have felt the SLP leather before, and it felt really plastic-y actually. Any alternatives?
Christopher Wilson
It's just been the custom for ages. My parents do it and my grandparents do it. But it hurts my butt and also makes me feel paranoid when im in downtownish areas in the city.
no, buy a real wallet. I bought a MMM wallet and I went back to my $100 plain brown leather wallet. The MMM was just terrible quality and I thought it was cool but it was just too flashy even for the 15 seconds it was out per day.
Leo Gray
What qualifies as a real wallet?
Jaxon Carter
Slim sleeve is great It's another one of their other wallets that I just flat out didn't like
Elijah Gray
Thanks friend. Just ordered some Collonil and a brush.
Alexander Perez
saddleback ID holder
had mine about 6 years now, great wallet, still smells of leather
William Moore
>Its great >I dont like it
Uh, what? Typo?
Isaiah Harris
He likes the slim sleeve by that brand, he doesn't like one of the other wallets by that brand.
Grayson Lee
Ah ok. Yeah some of their wallets seemed really gimmicky. Even the slim sleeve was kind of a gamble because it has that pull out tag, which looks like a problem waiting to happen.
Owen Howard
If I get turned off by the slim sleeve, I will return it for this. This looks really nice, and that leather looks amazing in the pictures.
Easton Price
front pockets aren't any harder to pick than back ones. To even be a deterrent you need an affirmative closure, and Veeky Forums will go autismopocalypse if you wear cargos
If you're really worried about gypsy faggots niggering you, use a money belt with metal reinforcements so it can't be cut and foil lining to block RFID attacks. But I'm gonna warn you, they look gomer as fuck
Cameron Martinez
yeah, I just checked today and they've bumped up the prices massively unfortunately but I'd still recommend
Grayson Kelly
what about when its on? the only safe option is coins, no robber will take your cash if u have 100 dollars in coins, if u had bills they would take it, and credit cards can be skimmed, nfc can be hacked, coins is the one true method of buying shit
John Lopez
Used on eBay You can save a lot
Dylan Fisher
It's literally 1.50$ of material that goes into one of those things Generic ass veg tanned cow hide
Nolan Bailey
>double fold over with internal burnishing what the fuck are you even talking about stop spouting shit you have no fucking clue about because some old fart who worked for hermes babbled some bullshit to justify your "bespoke wallet"
Lincoln Moore
Just get a magic wallet from J.Crew and you're done.
Adam Turner
Fuck those meme wallets. They just went up in price, too.
Carson Anderson
my dad used to use these when I was a kid I saw one in a Japanese magazine a few months ago; apparently they're popular over there now lol
Ian Flores
You can learn how to diy this. Looks simple enough.
Joseph Gomez
I have a Frank Clegg wallet w a monogram
Super nice and good value for $200
made in massachusetts by the dude and his kids so its p cool
Parker Flores
>3 pieces of leather yes, it's very simple. and 60$ a ridiculous price for that
Matthew Cox
they aren't
Parker Baker
I may return the $70 bellroy I just ordered for this $9 card holder
Charles Moore
how many cards do you hold?
Jackson Sanders
Three debit/credit cards, two ID's (school and drivers), and I occasionally hold cash.
Cameron Price
that might be enough for the $9 wallet I carry a lot of cards, like 15 Debit Card, Credit Card, Sam's Club card, driver's license, CTA card, Kinokuniya membership card (I could take this one out, to be honest), couple of gift cards, a $20, and all of my insurance cards
Joshua Lopez
that's like 6 inches of stacked plastic
Jeremiah Harris
Exactly, I carry very little, so I see no reason in owning a big wallet that takes up all of my pocket space.
I just hope Bellroy has good return policies and they arent dicks about it. I guess thats why you should always order from Amazon whenever able, because you can return without question.
Michael Anderson
...
Oliver Bell
They sound pretty liberal on returns so hopefully it will work out. I emailed them a while ago so now Im waiting for a response.
Jordan Ross
I hate big wallets, need something slim in my front pocket that still holds a few coins (cash country) until I can put them in the piggy bank at home. So I made myself this one here from a single piece of leather, pretty Veeky Forums, some advanced avant garde shit desu with the raw edge on the flap. Actually it's two pieces now that I think about it because of the CC compartment but still, very slim and functional.
