Don't listen to that guy, every popular shoe and boot on this board is a meme to somebody. Clarks for the money you spend, will be a good investment years down the line. The leather ages very well, but the white sole gets dirty as fuck really quick (if you get the beeswax). They're a good entry-level boot that can compliment outfits really nicely depending on what you wear and what your fit is like.

For a first fit, it's not bad tbqh friend. It looks like you were going with a theme of darker colors to go with the boot, which is good but the white socks popping out the of boots kind of detracts from the palette imo. Try black denim with that shirt you're wearing and explore what colors compliment you the most with your shoes.

not in my opinon. Im not a pro but I think the fit is just shitty from the beginning. You might try a tailor if you really want to keep them but I dont think its a good idea. Might cost you a ball for a tailor to work out everything which sucks on these. The fit is just too loose IMO
If no money just go H&m for slim / skinny jeans and try them out in stores. They litteraly have one of the best (if not the best) quality / price ratio for black skinnies. If you dont like second skin feeling, take a size bigger
