recently I had a friend give me a futon frame that I turned into a bed frame. You can disassemble an old futon and take the "legs" off, using just the part that comes in contact with the futon as a frame to keep your mattress off the ground. It looks great if you are looking for a minimal low bed. Plus I saved the futon legs so I can always turn it back into a futon if I move. You can probably find a free one on craigslist.

There is a nice hotel in Siglufjörður, where you can get a view like that. I also remember a bar in Akureyri, overseeing the great Eyjarfjörður, Europe's largest fjord.

My issue with inspo pics is I don't have much of a vision. I see shit that I like but I can't see a way to transplant it into my space. I guess I'm looking for someone with vision to tell me what to do like I'm a retard. I'd hire an interior designer if I could even remotely afford it.

Advice? It doesn't really feel warm or homey. I've considered getting plants, but I'm concerned they'll just fucking die with the lack of sunlight and be nests for bugs.

Besides that, I don't really have any sort of coherent theme going on. I ditched most of my furniture when I moved, and most of what I have left is just bland modern stuff.
