I strongly disagree, one of George's strong suits, especially compared to to the other three, was that he always dressed appropriately for the situation.

The "many moods" thing was a meme, but he always wore a suit when it was appropriate, for work, nice restaurants, dates, etc, but he dressed down with his plaids and parkas when he was just dicking around.

He dressed like the older and slightly uncool uncle, the rest of the cast dressed for their decade - which in the 90s, meant casual, sometimes to the point of stupidity.

seinfeld isn't funny when you cut out 95% of the episode. it's also not funny if you start watching in the middle of an episode. the entire show is about setting up a joke in the beginning and then revisiting the joke several times with the big punchline at the very end.
