theschooloflife.com/shop/the-philosophers-jumper//

thank god he chose more promising career

can stalin be the mascot of Veeky Forums?

>socialist
>buys exxpensive clothes and supporting capitalism
Yeah, fhat works brah

Social democratism?

that pic is heavily edited desu he didnt look like that

that's not socialism at all you moron

what's the difference?

>Socialism is caring about the well being of others
Socialism is in my own interest because I wasn't born in a rich family.
Social democrats want to reform capitalism ("capitalism and socialism are both bad u need a bit of both!!"). They want to keep capitalism, while socialists want to abolish it.

Cuck general?

Economically, social democrats lean towards a mixed economy heavily inspired by the works of John Maynard Keynes, an economic system combining private and state enterprise. So they don't reform capitalism. They keep it. In the private sector. But they will still be regulated.
Nordic countries are built on the social democrat welfare model, but have in recent years became more liberal (in the economical sense)

>Nordic countries are built on the social democrat welfare model, but have in recent years became more liberal (in the economical sense)

This is very true and very sad, the ladder part is destroying the entire model, sadly. Fucking people born in the 60's/70's had it too good and secure in their youth and ya'll know how the 80's played out in terms of values.

>Fucking people born in the 60's/70's had it too good
Too true. I can't fucking buy an appartment because of the prices nowadays (Oslo). Only been to one more expensive city, and that's San Francisco. My parents bought a big fucking house for 1/10 the price it is today.

Hey at least your education is still free

yeah man, I'm very thankful.

>Manlets
When will they learn...

it would be the most edgy thing ever

buying cheap clothes is also supporting capitalism

are bread lines effay

that photo is heavily airbrushed

Capitalism? More like cuckitalism.

Yes, yes they are

w2c bearpussy in the center?

Have you never been to the site Young Stalin? It's linked in the sticky.

>there isn't any social interaction anymore our community infrastructure has crumbled!
>no I don't want to wait in line for bread, other people might be there >:(

Conservatives everyone

My God, they actually have bread lines in America? What a hell hole

not really

modern socialism in america means buying stuff with other people's money

TRUE

lmao @ these butthurt underage commie retards

>Socialism is in my own interest because I wasn't born in a rich family.

Have you tried getting a decent job?

Seriously though, unless you just want everyone else to be living a shitty life (including yourself), just get a good job.

I'm aware that sounds hard. However, if you've fucked up your education, you only have yourself to blame.

>if you've fucked up your education, you only have yourself to blame
t. middle class white male

Privilege and ignorance: the post

>socialism

lmao

you don't get to talk unless you live in a literal third world country, stfu

you know when that photo is from right? it's a hundred years old..

please enlighten me on how to get a 'decent' job with no career or any money to pay university.

lol

oh geez does anyone have some evidence of that kid who kept spamming pics of his "communist worker inspired fit" like in 2014 because that shit was fantastic in it's embrace of hideous overalls

Oi Oi the GOAT

you think a man as powerful as stalin couldnt hire an artist to edit one single photograph? plenty of motivation to do that, for propaganda etc

and dont tell me you think the pic looks natural, it looks like a painting on the wall in a haunted house on disney land

looks pretty natural in the op

I have to disagree. For me he's deep into uncanny valley, very smooth skin and glassy eyes and an empty expression that makes him look like a stuffed animal.

Stop being a faggot and go see shit like constructions and stuff that's always hiring

At least this works here where there's a lot of illegal businesses, don't know how it is in babby countries

he does look more like he's from a propaganda poster than a private photo

Keynes was wrong about almost everything.

Also the Nordic model only works when you have a racially homogenous population.

Excuses and autism: the post

What is the difference between National Socialism and Socialism?

National Socialism is inclined to giving back to it's own people and the nation state?

Conventional Socialism helps all?

this portrait was taken from multiple angles, they look the same as any other photos of stalin

>privilege
>ignorance
>probably even a straight white male
wow that post is so PROBLEMATIC, right???!!

National Socialism is a variant founded in Germany as a combination of the German National People's Party (nationalists) and the National Socialist German Workers' Party (socialists); hence National Socialism. The Nazi party was mostly a continuation of the latter. The nationalists were included for political reasons.

Nazis are socialists in name only, they support private property. The "left wing" faction got purged en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Long_Knives

Prior to the rise of the NSDAP socialism was very popular in Germany. Hitler obviously didn't like socialism, but changed its meaning to "all germans are equal" (national socialism).

Socialism doesn't mean big government by the way.

no it doesnt
it works if you have a super wealthy country like norway

pretty accurate

>hitler with brown eyes
why

even though he supported private property he still nationalized the industry and the economy

thats why he got war

Not really. He basically did it in the most pants-on-head retarded way possible (well, outside of wartime, in wartime it makes sense.)

>Okay, you get to continue owning your factory, but I say what you produce and pay you for it.

i.e. state planning for private profit, which in peacetime is the silliest way to go about it (markets are better at deciding consumer goods, and market socialism or co-operativism would be preferable "overall" since it means fairer ownership + appropriate decisions on what to produce, instead of unfair ownership and slow inefficient central planning.)

Stalin notoriously got his enemies removed from his pictures.

...

because he is a brown eyed shitty Austrian and not of true power

Reportedly, he also had severe acne as a young man and many old images of him are touched up to hide this.

Doesn't change the fact that his hair is on point and that Stalin did nothing wrong.

wouldn't the philosopher's jumper be off of a cliff?

he had blue eyes irl though
pretty sad how the zionist media trys to portray hitler has a mentally ill, evil man with brown eyes

>free

ITT: People don't understand what socialism is

lmao, jokes on you guys, I'm poor as fuck, and I was raised by a depressive-part-Irish-single-father on £7k a year.

Regardless of this, though, I got good grades in my secondary school. I don't do drugs, smoke, or drink, yet I've tried all three for the shits. Oh, and next September, I'm going to be starting a course in mechanical engineering at my city's university.

It's not hard.

le not an argument faec

It's not really uncanny valley, but we do know it was edited. In reality, he had severe scarring on his face, because of a disease in his early childhood.

irish tuition fees are laughably low compared even to the UK, let alone the USA.

I live in the UK.

well then you know how student loans here work then. (cuntery, but not half as cuntery as they are in the states, and more like a graduate tax.)

Mandela Effect changed his eye color to blue, but he's always had brown eyes. That's why our teachers mentioned the irony that a brown eyed dark haired Austrian was a blue eyes blonde hair supremacist.

By the way, Hitler didn't kill himself in Germany. He died an old man in South America after fleeing to Argentina.

t. /pol/

>implying ethical consumption can exist under capitalism

Yup. I will admit that you're going to get your balls busted more than a rich kid, but regardless, I like to be grateful that we live in a time where we very much get a great shot at getting what we want if we play our cards sensibly.

I feel bad for Americans than anything, but at least they've still got a shot, too.

eh, i'm far too political, i just get upset by how things were in the recent past. i feel one had a better shot at social mobility, or at least a comfy life in the 70s or 90s.

>tuition fees didn't exist, and in 2007 the scottish government demonstrated they don't actually have to exist for your universities to remain competitive but we've still got them anyway because of different political cultures and such.
>dole was much easier to get (to control social unrest from mass unemployment), so if your aspiration was to be a musician or artist you could just walk in and say "yeah, i'm trying" and collect payment for it, instead of being expected to work 35hr a week jobseeking for £50 a week, then blair kept major's reforms, introduced the "new deal" and started the trend towards more stringent testing of the disabled.
>(in the 70s and part of the 80s) wages and productivity remained linked, unlike now where productivity goes up and wages stagnate.

oh well, i guess i should be grateful i'm not in the states, where many of the same problems exist but worse.
co-operative businesses, arguably. that way workers own the means of production even within a fundamentally capitalist society.

Make way, voluntary peasants.
