How tight are these supposed to be...

How tight are these supposed to be? I have a hard time getting in and out of them but once put on they're kinda okay but pretty constricting around the toes. These are US 8.5. I tried 9.5s which is my regular size a few weeks ago and they were huge. Are they supposed to be this tight or should I try to find 9s?

Converse usually run a bit smaller compared to your actual shoe size, so I'd recommend going after some 9's or if you're feeling like getting something different with the same style (to the point where Converse sued em but lost) just get a pair of PF Flyers. They have plenty of different price ranges and material, I have a basic canvas pair and the arch support in those shoes is fucking choice.

>smaller
you mean bigger?

are you short, OP?

5'10

try and find 9s. i bought secondhand converse online and they were comfy as fuck

rip

you saying that's too short to be wearing high tops or what

no.

why don't the insides/tongue of my fucking chucks look like that? it's just a thin piece of canvas not that padding.

because those are Cons II with updgraded everything and you have regular Cons more than likely

what then my man

I'd say you should be able to find a perfect fit, mine are. Go for the 9s. Try them on in person if you can, Chuck IIs aren't rare.

You fucked up op. Chuck IIs are true to size. You're supposed to size down on OG chucks.

Well idk, I'm usually between 9 and 10 and those 9.5s were huge.

Feet don't scale perfectly like a few people in this thread think. Some people have wide feet. Some people have big toes. Converse are shaped around thin feet instead of average like other shoes, so wide freaks get to choose uncomfortably tight or loose toes.

Chuck IIs are exactly the same size on the outside as regular ones, but with increased padding on the inside. I had to order half a size up on my Chuck IIs.

>usually a 9.5
>drops a whole shoe size down.ate should half went half a shoe size down like most people do if its avaliable.
>US 9.5
Are you a girl?

>tfw inherited narrow pict feet instead of ugly wide Anglo saxon feet
Feels good man

I'm not and I went down a full size because the 9.5s were huge

Just got these today, returned a 9 and got 8.5. Looked and felt better (not used to having big shoes on my feet, used to plain vans). Still have room length wise to even go to a 8, but around my toes like the ball of my foot couldn't size down anymore

>tfw not anglo saxon but still have retardedly wide feet from sitting weird in the womb
lookin into that surgery

Are you feeling crowding on the sides or the top of your toes. converse are narrow bub and you might just have a wider foot

I wear an 11 and went 11, they fit very snugly, but I have wide feet.

mostly my little toe that's getting squashed and I generally hate the feeling of hardly being able to move my toes
but I never thought that I had particularly wide feet desu, or do I?

I found a size 9 for the same price, gonna order them and see. 45€ seems like a good price for these
