Quick question: Is it worth me buying a physical copy of Popeye (£20 at a magazine store near my uni :^( ), rather than waiting for that one user to post scans. Plus side is getting a physical copy would be nice though once I've finished it, I've no idea what to do with the mag.

Ah damn, there's a shop literally 30 seconds from my uni that sells all types. But Popeye too, then in soho london there's a jap shop that sells all the jap fashion magazines like mfl and such as well as popeye.

i buy physical mags/books but only keep what i really like around, what i know i'll be going through again. if you think you'll read it once and never again, don't bother, waste of money
you never know what is gonna inspire you, man, whether now or in 10 years
that's one reason I've made such an effort to spread the mags that I upload
there is a pic from an issue of Popeye (can't remember which issue, to be honest, but it was from fall/winter 2009) that I really wish I could find, but I lost my old mags in a flood and don't know any info about it aside from what I remember it looking like

I've never been in one though so idk, but there's a magazine store near my uni luckily for me but I'm not sure on their prices besides popeye being around 20ish. Though you could possibly Google magazine shops and hope theres one within travelling distance or buy them online as an user suggested above.
also it's called magculture but there's also a Japanese bookstore in soho run by Japanese people. They have pretty much all the Japanese fashion magazines like liniere, mfl, popeye etc.
