guarantee this person has never studied libertarian socialism in any academic sense. Most people who act like this towards left-leaning ideas have a fundamental misunderstanding of what socialism is.

also ideologies are fucking stupid in general. why would anybody encourage that way of thinking, IE having a set of beliefs, values,worldview that you dictate all of your actions on and fit everything you learn into that framework. I'm not even a Stirnerite. I'm just memeing. I think that for me it means prioritizing the sovereignty of the individual over all else and the total rejection of rulers. I think people can be individualists but as to whether or not a pure individualist society can exist, I'm not so sure. I also believe that the overwhelming majority of people are incapable of living without some sort of spooks. People need some sort of higher meaning, some type of transcendental element to create a full identity and get through life intact. This could be religion, family, nation, class, a subculture, or even (dank) memes.
