Make suer your top hair is long, at least 5 - 7 inches, dont let the barber cut off your top hair, and ask for a clipper length of 1 on the sides and back

Protips how to pull off undercut, this is the longest my hair has been for a long time going to barber soon.
Also I got no products or anything right now, it's not a good pic but it shows my hair at its worst.
How do I fix that twisting part?
