They decided to plant my Calc II final next Saturday and I'm cramming as best I can since I took it online. And let me tell you, if you're not on top of it, don't take online classes. I've also got a big paper to turn in for another class so yeah.

How do you like it there? Considering going next year

It's been good overall. My home's close enough where I can commute every day but I decided to live on campus.

It's easy to get lost when going from class to class so get yourself oriented. I divide the campus into the Quad and the Fountain with Red Square connecting them.

Shopping is great up here. You can hit up University Village which is 10 minutes something away by bus or Bellevue Collection which is just across Lake Washington. There's a Uniqlo at Bellevue. Filson is in SoDo. SoDo also makes a good backdrop for WAYWT pics.

Food scene (in Seattle as a whole) is amazing compared to what's back home. Campus food is okay, go with food level one or two. Chicken tenders gives you good bang for your buck. If you live on West campus (which you should), you can go to the Ave for good, cheap food. Just keep your head up and keep your shit close. Cafe on the Ave is better in every way compared to the Starbucks next to it, but don't torrent there.

Pretty big variety of people. The turbo-liberals are the loudest group of people but you'll definitely find politically regular people. Try to introduce yourself and make friends when you can because it will be extremely difficult later. The international students have the best fits. Join a club. It's fun.

Don't take any online classes unless you are 200% sure that you can hold yourself accountable for your work. I never had to study much even with 8 AP classes and my HS GPA was 3.95, but you WILL need to study in college. Make use of your resources outside of class.

I should have listened to my US history teacher when he said to never be roommates with your best friend. Don't stay up till 3AM just because you can even if you have late classes. If you wake up early, you can actually do shit like have food or do laundry.

Lastly, go out and explore. You get a "free" bus pass with tuition and it's an urban jungle out there. Make the best of your time and live with no regrets.
