I disagree, Lindy has spouted a lot of unsourced stuff, but it has always been blatant that it was not meant to be stated as fact. Lindy is good at making clear when he's talking consensus in the field and when he's just shooting a hypothesis out there for discussion. Lindybeige is probably around decent level. He's not an expert in anything, has zero formal education on most of the topics he speaks on, and rarely ever cites any sources (might not matter ultimately but I thought it should be pointed out). There's a few things he gets wrong and a couple videos are absolutely atrocious, but there are a couple other videos that I personally like. Example of his misinformation, on one of several incorrect information in his 3-minute video "A point about bows" he says you can't have a more powerful bow because power is entirely dependent on the man but that's simply not true because you can have improvements of design that make the bow faster regardless of weight, i.e. more powerful.
