These aren't necessary

you sound like the most boring person alive or at least the most boring person from mfa

They are basics. What did you expect?

thinking all of that is 'bare minimum' makes you seem pretty insufferable and like youre trying to impress someone. or more literally why the fuck would i need an olive polo shirt or beige chinos lmao

aayy lmao

1 x navy suit
1x grey suit
1x charcoal suit
1x double breasted suit of suitable colour
1x tuxedo
1x white tie attire
1x morning dress

I only wear black suits

Probably three suits- black, grey and blue. Maybe a funny/parody suit
A set of tees in colors you like (blank tees)
A set of polo shirts
Dress shoes that match each belt (minum black and brown)
Nice jeans (about 3)
At least one pair of beat up jeans you can do hard/tough work in
Swim trunks
A pair of workboots.
A pair of weekender type shoes you like
A light/casual jacket
A heavy jacket for very cold conditions
A beanie/earmuffs/trapper hat one of those
One scarf
A pair of beater shoes for tennis
And a hat you like for when it's hot

It would be very boring if every man had the same things
Basics can be a good starting off point for some but it's better if you from the start choose things more suited to your personality and image rather than what others have chosen
So what I'm saying is there is no answer to that

Exactly, which is why in my list I let them know it's whatever colors they like. However, no stripe/designs on polos or the blank tees (since this is a minimal list). Also, I forgot shorts, which everyman should about three of (or more depending on where you live).

Don don't wear shorts

This is actually not too bad a list.

I'd add some casual menswear outfits as well. Colored shirts and sweaters with khaki chinos should do you fine. Things to wear to your girlfriend's parent's place, basically. Maybe to a mid-tier bar as well, depending on your personality and town.

I'd probably cut the polo shirts too, but that may be a personal prejudice. To me, they too easily become douchewear to be worth the attempt.

In general I'd also advise you to buy things in the interest of being able to mix and match them into varying levels of class rather than buying specific uniforms for each possible scenario.

3 wool sweaters
2 pairs of wool socks, short & thin
2 pairs of wool socks, regular
2 pairs of wool socks, thick & long
5 wool t-shirts
2 wool boxers
1 wool longjohns
1 wool trouser, thick
1 wool trouser, thin
1 wool coat
1 blouson (if possible, wool)
1 shorts (if possible, wool!)

lol

Everyman should have a few pairs dude. Especially if you live in a place that's always hot. Don't be a dummy
