I'd just stick with Asics gt2170 in all black, man. They have get nice reviews from runners and have seen some good fits here in the past.

Nike and Adidas runners aren't terrible, both brands have a mix of good and bad models. Fitness communities look down on those two brands because it's usually the normie choice for someone who's not really serious about working out and just wants to look good (which is you)

if you can pull off white AF1s you can pull off HS AF1s.

It works better on taller people imo, since the bottom is quite chunky and sizing is a bit large (about half to one size larger depending on feet shape)

yup. I just went to my local running gear shop and the dude put me on a treadmill, took notes/pics on an iPad, and sold me some damn good shoes.

you can also just go in, let them check you out, say you'll come back later and buy the shoes they rec for cheaper online.

oh and another thing is to not rely on shoes. this is getting into Veeky Forums territory, but the best cross country and long distance runner I've ever known only wore cheap ass nikes. nigga would fit a run in the morning and run for over an hour in the afternoon, at least six days a week.

those are pretty okay. and to the OP, you really shouldn't be worrying about looks when going for actual fitness/rubbing shoes. comfort and biomechanics come first
