Here the real answer: Ricks are basics luxury wear that is hyped and has a strong name with a high price point. People look to rick like porsches and ferrari of clothing, but it doesn't scream "I"M WEARING RICKS" cause it's toned down. People want it to scream that cause it'll stroke their ego and justify purchasing an expensive piece of clothing.

Honest answer is, if you really like the brand/ if you have nothing to talk about and you want to feel better than normies/ if you just want to buy pieces to show off to Veeky Forums then you're in the category of should cop if you have the necessary funds.

My biased opinion about them is that it attracts people that are like rickheads and have odd taste in fashion buying luxury wear. Or people who are out to show wealth in forms of fashion. In my opinion you should never buy anything from Rick (or designers in general) except for jackets and shoes. CCP truly is the crux of Avant Garde. Just to shop at his own store you need to book an appointment, he's crazy dedicated to fashion and its philosophy.

Well, you have to book an appointment for a store in Germany -- I've talked with the owner a couple times via email with regards to certain pieces and their pricing.

There are places where you don't have to book appointments -- like Darkland, Maxfields, some other place in LA I can't recall, etc. -- but that specific store in Germany is ONLY CCP, so it's really a special thing since finding his stuff is hard to begin with and to have a place that's dedicated to him? Even rarer.

But, yes: he is the top of avant garde.

I understand where you are coming from with that but lot of designers offer such unique items in terms of design that I just don't see why choose anything else if you like what they offer.
And like I said, the tees are pretty much the GOAT, in my opinion anyway, and I don't mind paying extra if I'm getting something that's just straight up the absolute best there is
And as far as 'justifying the price' goes, the mark up is the same on items, rick leathers, and I agree they are easily his best items, start from 2k, they are luxury items, "justifying the price" is always on the individual consumer.
