styles like this only exist in places where everyone cares about being presentable, even if they don't have a fashion sense (ie 75% of the population). We will forever be stuck in a nation where 25% of people dress up in completely different styles and the remaining 75% are in whatever is "comfortable". This doesn't really bother me but its sort of sad that people care less and less about appearances when all it takes is a decent shirt and jeans to look half decent

I don't even think hat style will really exist in certain places but those places will still have it in their cultural memory and respect it (basically Japan and parts of Europe).

Veeky Forums used to love this stuff but overnight we got overrun with teens and no one with taste thought it worthwhile to fight the good fight (and it isn't). Everyone is dressed by memes and it's scary to see how fast an ugly trend shilled on Veeky Forums will get popular IRL.
