Not really. Lutherans reject the eucharist being the actual, physical body and blood of Christ. Catholics explicitly say it is. Sure, you could say that both Catholics and Lutherans say that it's a "metaphor," but Catholics, while seeing it as a metaphor for something deeper, ALSO see it as literal. Not much room for "semantics" here.

- that Lutheranism says the faith of the receiver makes the con/ transubstantiation of the host, while Catholics believe the priests power bestowed upon him in his sacramentation makes it "ex opera operato" (if the rite is done correctly).
- That (since faith is what makes the miracle) in Lutheran Christ only is present in and as the host during Eucharist. Afterwards the hosts are only bread again, what the catholic church has condemned in Trent as a heresy. Their leftovers stay Christ forever, which is why you have to bury them if they go bad.
