I shouldn't mind it 'cause I'm not racist, but this is the first that black people are over represented in media instead of crime stats. Well, the thing is that most western countries are majority white, so even from the ideal of representation it's completely outta whack. We wouldn't blink an eye seeing Japanese models in Japan for example.
In some way this drive for representation is quite dehumanizing. A model is not selected for his or her look but rather for their ethnicity. It's gone from applying the same standards for everyone, namely beauty to using ethnicity as a prop.
