combat boots

yeah, don't wear it with black pants for starters. also, roll the sleeves up in your pic and you have a bartender

It's a fine line between waiter and the lead singer of deafheaven

don't waiters wear white shirts and black pants?

Not even for an all black fit?

Waiter here.
My uniform is black shirt and black pants and black shoes with my black apron.

Ah, could be a cultural difference

Add accessories and unbutton an extra button if possible.

do you work in outback?

>Not pictured, my black soul after becoming a waiter

Just by itself no but you put a nice charcoal or black blazer or suit jacket over it and you'll be fine.

that guitarist doesn't look like he's wearing a dress shirt, though...just a button up. maybe it's different with black denim?

I'm studying architecture so i like to look like a faggot architecture student and wear all black. but i wear white high tops to make it look less like a uniform.

still, the odd person harasses me in a store once and a while, assuming i work there. it's made me realize these retail workers have to deal with some real cunts.

the point is just break the black up a little.

gipsy core

White pants. But then it looks like your other purchases were a BMW and a divorce.

you're not wrong. serving has killed my soul and made me hate everything.

nope, olive garden

kek

can you guys elaborate?

Then you'd look like a salsa dancer

Not them but the industry is soul sucking, stressful, unappreciated, and doesn't pay well

No, but navy shirts are good, black is quite tasteless (in my opinion). Add some color to your attire, especially with formal and semi formal clothing.

Restaurant workers have to deal directly with people all day everyday.
You learn the most people are fucking morons, rude, cheap, and annoying. You start to get really cynical and pessimistic and gate everyone.
It kills your soul. Go to any restaurant to eat and you can rest assured your waiter/waitress hates you, and is talking shit on you to all their coworkers.

maybe if you hate everyone you are the problem?

naw i've worked retail and food service in the past and it's very true you just hate everyone. of course, many customers are nice/decent human beings, but the ones that aren't can fuck up your day very easily

nah fuck baby boomers they ruined everything
the customer isnt always right especially when they think they deserve something

its like people who play mmos or some shit and complain about rng, like nigga, you played this game knowing theres rng and then you gon complain, if you dont let me slap the fuck out of you right now

Nope. You start out enthused, and then you desperately want to quit after two weeks. Retail is the worst, no matter what product you're moving.

Good thing service jobs will be automated out of existence in 10 years

I kinda always liked how Paul McCartney "softened" the black shirt + black pants look by adding a beige sweater vest, in this video for Hey Bulldog:

Could be a good way to avoid the douchebag look, but it could also easily look dorky so gotta be careful.

Just don't wear dress pants...

Not that hard
