So what's a good way to caombat hairloss?

So what's a good way to caombat hairloss?

As far as I know:
- Finasteride
- Minoxidil
- Keto shampoo

What else can you do besides hairtransplants?

That's about it. I got my temples back after I stopped using creatine. Omega 3 and b-vitamins seem to improve the quality of hair that you have but it won't grow anything back

So investing in a good biotin and maybe fishoil supplement is worth it?

Those are your only options bucko. Men don't get rekt by baldness for a lack of trying. I know trannies experience some hair growth so maybe smuggle whichever drugs they're on.

For the hair you have, sure, but it won't grow anything back and as far as I know it doesn't prevent you from losing anything either. hairlosstalk was a good resource for me when doing research 5-6 months ago when I noticed that I had gotten some recession in my temples. Then I went off creatine + I got a bad concussion so I had to start eating 9999 vitamin supplements. I now have hair in my temples again, although the hair is pretty translucent. The vitamins+omega 3s could have done something but I don't know if it did - check in with the experts who know research, hairlosstalk is a resource where you'll find such experts

You need to suppress testosterone and get on estrogen.

Fully bald men have regrown their hair. No joke. Your hair cells are still there, they're just kept in a dormant cycle.

Only downside is that you're a tranny now.

Homeopathy. Looking into it myself. Helped me with a different problem in the past. And Ive already seen remedies against hairloss. I don't know if it will help against genetic hairloss. Probably not then but I have a different issue anyway.

accept it
go for the waingro/lynch look

I take 1.25mg of finasteride. AMA

is yar dick working

Does it work? Is it expensive? I know insurance supposedly doesn't cover it

If you are not yet balding there are a few possibilities:

Become a fall down Wino alcoholic, bums all have nice long hair, the alcohol damages the liver and lowers testosterone, your hair stays nice and thick.

Begin talking estrogen, not enough to go full tranny, but enough to lower your T, to a level that prevents hair loss.

The most drastic, castrate yourself and become a Eunuch, they all had/have nice skin, thick hair and sing pretty good.

If you are already going bald, transplants, paint, dermal tattooing, or the drugs ( that help you to become Impotent ( but you can use Viagra (which can make you bald))), or just man up and shave like a those of us with excess testosterone do.

homeopathy is literally medical supplements without research to back it up, why would he want to go for the kind of drugs that doesn't have the benefit of research proving its effectiveness

I've been taking it for 11 months now, dick is still fully operational. If you believe the FDA, only 3% of men have erectile issues as side effects of fin.

I pay $8 for a 3 month supply and it's covered by insurance. I think you referring to Propecia which is 1mg of finasteride.

the side effects get more common the longer you use it after like 20 months 75% men will get side effects.
And it messes your dick up permanently. It may get better when u stop taking it but it ll never be the same.

because it might help him after all and because it's perfectly safe? And because normal bio medicine has its limits, only works for certain ailments but not all and doesn't make up the whole world of medicine. now fuck off, you retarded denial fedora.

plus, shit like Minoxidil is a sledgehammer method that doesn't actually cure the problem. Once you're off from it, the hairloss returns. so only close-minded faggots wouldn't look for alternatives other than "western medicine" to bring the hair back to normal. depends on what OP has though.

I've been using it for 5 years no problems. Kept the hair I had too. I was diffuse thinning slightly on top, and there was missing there for me to notice when my hair was wet if i brushed around the top. Still the same. Fortunately my hairline framing my face hasn't moved at all and the crown is fine too, just a bit of diffuse thinning made me lose my shit and hop on all of the methods.

Tranny here. You won't necessarily get all your hair back on hormone replacement therapy. If you have thin fuzzy hair in the balding area, it will probably come back. If it's totally bald, it's probably gone forever.

I've been taking fin since late last year and it hasn't done shit to stop my hair falling out.

I'm thinking of giving minoxidil a try but I heard it apparently makes your hair feel super greasy and that's a deal breaker for me.

yeah, and it might not. It's bs throwing "homeopathy" at someone without being more specific, because if so, all you're doing is saying "LOOK INTO THE STUFF THAT ISN'T PROVEN TO BE EFFECTIVE, BECAUSE IT JUST MIGHT BE". If you have a specific recommendation, hit the user up with it so he can do his research. You yelling "close-minded" from the top of your lungs doesn't change the fact that user has absolutely 0 incentive to try the non-proven stuff, because the fact that it's not proven removes the incentive to try it. If it had been proven to be effective, there would be an incentive. Now there isn't.

Also, you are so full of shit going on about how current medication doesn't cure the problem. You don't know what cures the problem. Because if you did, you'd be sitting on a trillion dollar idea just waiting to be sold to a company which could manufacture the medication in order to get it out to the masses. Researchers have spent years trying to find the sollution to the complex problems presenting itself in trying to manipulate the factors involved in the hormonal clusterfuck that is hairloss. You're so ignorant spewing shit like that without backing your thesises up, it's disrespectful to the researchers actually doing their best to find the sollution

if you avoid excess creatine you will be ok, about 30 years ago there was study showing increased creatine intake directly contributed to increased dht productiona nd hair loss However, you have to have bad hair genetics for it to really take affect so make sure you check your pre workouts if you take any, most are loaded with extra creatine.

I've been taking fin for 11 months so I can offer comments based on first hand experience, can I assume you've been taking it longer than 20 months and you comments are also based on first hand experience?

Or are you just re-regurgitating what you hear on the internet?

I'm not trying to be snarky but everyone and their uncle become instantly doctors when discussing fin and ed issues so forgive me when I say I can't trust your words.

I'm a huge proponent of talking to your doctor, my advice to everyone is call up a clinic and ask if they have any doctors experienced with prescription hair loss treatments and go in and be honest and ask questions.

time to die

hahaha...

I think it looks good

give it up. shave your head. if you are balding, it is a sign of high testosterone and not anything you should be ashamed of or desperately scrambling to undo. a shaved head is powerful and visually striking.

You look fine faggot. Just depends how you're dressing otherwise. Decent beard and neck thickness at least.

not an Veeky Forums browser by any means; i've been struggling to come to terms with this for about a year now, and this post is one of the few things that has made me feel better. im giving rogaine a few more months to measure vs baseline and if not, it's gotta go. idk why but "powerful and visually striking" is infinitely more appealing to me than any of the masculine stuff. thanks user, truly

PRP
google it

thanks, you guys have given me hope

Thankfully I have decent beard genetics, so I'm trying to grow one. This right here is about 3 weeks growth

posters like you make me sad. please do not waste your time on this shit, op

This is a hard pill to swallow but the alternatives is a life on retarded drugs or being a cuck.

Keep in mind that beard/sleazecore are perfect alternatives to desperately holding on to your shitty HY cut.

>fringe is practically gone, can barely get away with being able to style it sideways to cover up receding hairline
>teetering on the edge where I'll have no choice but to shave it all off
>have really bad acne scarring on my temples and wrinkles going across my forehead despite only being 24
>if I shave my head these will be extremely visible

same here, I just started a course with fishoil, calcium, folic acid and some other vitamins, the hair stopped falling off completely within a couple of days, but this hairloss was not genetic, they were falling off from every area of my scalp, it was clearly a vitamin deficiency

>think I'm getting away with hiding the recede at the moment
>styling it looks fine in the mirror
>someone takes a picture of me and puts it on facebook
>widows peak looks horrific

a couple months then its all going I think

I'm fucking 19 why is this happening I literally get mistaken for being in my 30s

haircels listen up

>are you balding
>yes
okay
>are you okay with the high probability of losing erectile function
>yes
okay
1) get on an anti androgen such as spironolactone (this will stop testosterone)
2) get on dutasteride (this will stop DHT - whats responsible for balding)
3) get on a Selective Estrogen Reuptake Modulator such as raloxifene (this will prevent breast growth)
4) get a hair transplant

the combined effects of not having any testosterone to convert to DHT and the added security of knowing if any DHT somehow comes about it is instantly nuked by dutasteride will completely halt balding.

>are you not bald but paranoid about going bald
>yes
okay, see the above steps minus hair transplant.

This will 100% either stop or prevent balding from ever happening, depending on whether you are currently balding, or likely to bald in the future.

medfag here, too tired to explain things but dont listen to this fag
