I was able to steal a jacket from grailed for pretty cheap.
I've only been wearing it for a day but it feels really stiff, I provably need to break it in a bit and give it a wash though.

Rural you're fine. City you look autistic unless you are at least an 8/10 and fit, or female, or black.
Also looks better in winter than fall.

I got one from these about 3 years ago and I've worn it each winter as my main coat since, it's held up perfectly. You probably need to size down though.
