Bladerunner 2049

What boots/sneakers are Ryan Gosling wearing in 2049?
What are some boots that look similar to these?

They look very similar to Nike SFB 6 inch

cheap fabric the on set tailor made in 10 minutes for one scene

Really? That's pretty interesting.
I guess the director isn't big on expensive outfits.
I was expecting them to be some obscure designer's work.

They look more like a decently worn-in set of jump boots or tactical boots or something similar.

OP, these are the exact shoes K wore:

No one can make a pair of boots like this quickly on set dont be gullible

I'm more interested in this jumper/sweater he wore.

W2C on the coat aswell?

Bump

That scene where he's walking in the snow with his coat and face mask
effay as FUCK

i guess movie lighting can make everything look good

I was honestly surprised that I didn't find this movie to be that "effay".
K's outfit was great, but a lot of the films character's don't dress in ways that can be easily interpreted for casual or practical everyday wear.
It was a stellar film, the low box office has surprised me though.

By themselves they look really hard to pull off casually.

it's because the wardrobe department alters the boots and pretties them up with paint, fabrics glued on, etc

it is a lenghty, slow, sci-fi movie that was advertised as a comic hero action movie

obviously the average joe (hehe) doesnt want to watch this

They're Rothco black boots. Harrison Ford wears a sneaker similar to a black stan smith in the first movie if you want an alternative.

That's obviously not true? On no set ever has someone made a pair of boots for a quick scene.

this one seems like a match on the sole
seems pretty plausible that they may have made a new shoe using parts of existing shoes
look at first responder boots
stay away from Rothco, everything they make is a waste of resources

That's not how it works, especially on a movie with this kind of budget and lengthy preproduction.

You can't wear this unless you want to look like an anime retard

SOMETHING THAT RYAN FUCKING GOSLING LOOKS COOL WEARING IN FUCKING BLADE RUNNER

is going to look fucking cringe on you or me at the bus stop, OP

>being insecure about it

They're just regular boots though

>it's because the wardrobe department alters the boots and pretties them up with paint, fabrics glued on, etc

That's interesting. Any ideas on how someone could become good at doing that to themselves and the clothes they wear? This new to me; I've never heard this about film wardrobe departments before.
