Nah, that's a standard AK-74M. AN-94 has a very distinct two chamber muzzle brake, the gas tube is under the barrel, and it generally has a different profile.

Can someone recommend a good milsurp winter jacket? Ideally I'm looking for one in a solid colour without any camo.

As always, Telogreikas are very warm, and look just the right amount of milsurpey. The USAF also has a supposedly nice fleece if your town doesn't get much wind.

I used a Czech M85 parka for all of last winter, in New Hampshire. You can get it with a fish fur liner, but I just layered. It's very plain, but I think it's one of the best purchases I've made.

It's an Alpha brand black M-65 field coat. The tag on the his left chest pocket gives away the brand. Killer jacket, too, which you buy a winter lining for.

If you're a handy person this is a great deal. You can get a liner for $5 and have a fall & winter jacket.

Already been recommended but m65s are great. Pic related is mine. Only thing I don't like is the hood, which is a bit useless, so I keep it inside.

But if you don't want to layer underneath it you can buy linings quite cheap that button inside it

Virtually all clothes were manufactured locally, usually shitty clones of stuff from the west. For the higher quality stuff, people then formed a black market of jeans and sneakers bought from arab students and german tourists (or bought with illegal currency from those special shops)
