Why are the nips so fond of that hexagon graph thing?

I tried, it's kinda clunky:
The upper-lower balance feeling of white tees × denim. (In order of appearance:)
1. Stylish clean style. T-shirts just fit, denim is slim
2.amekaji (american casual) prevalent style. T-shirts one size down, denim is wide
3.Current street style. T-shirts are big, denim is narrow
4. Traditional/dominant street style. Both things are big.

The sliders at the bottom (l to r):
Difficulty to pull off the style: easy to difficult
Taste: wild to mild
Appearance: casual to clean

The chart in the bottom is basically "what kind of ladies think this style is cool?" Going clockwise: marunoichi (central Tokyo) office ladies, housewives, stylists, teachers, college attendees (I'm guessing this one b/c I don't think certified accountants or Tokyo's central authority would be fond of current street style lol), and hostesses.

if you can find one for cheaper than retail rick owens jumbo tees have this silhouette when tucked in, only tee i've found that fits like this in the way i want. be warned that if you want on its very very thick and probably wont fit well as a layer piece

this is a cool exercise. i thrift a lot of stuff, so i usually try to focus more on the silhouette, and what i could do with the piece, than the size on the tag.

Old Junya was awesome but recent ones are hit and miss. UC feels super hyped up at the moment; older scab pieces and FW07-09 are easy grails but newer graphic tee bullshits they made are just hype riding trash. That and i cant shake the association with noveau rich Chinese students. Still cool to spot now and then though.

N(n) has been dead since Takahiro left to focus on the soloist.

Other than those, Kolor is still inconsistent, IMO Sacai (his wife’s label) is much more interesting although recent releases feels like UC (graphic tees, collabs, etc).

White Mountaineering and Nanamica (and North face purple label) still pretty tight. And wander & General Research are neat alternatives and would like to see them represented more.

Nepenthes group still very much consistent.
