12k is not the end of the world, you lost your own money so it's not like you fucked over anyone but yourself, and you can find other jobs. Just calm down. You will still be here in one year, in five years and probably in ten years. What you should really focus on now is making a plan for what happens next. If you think you might get fired start looking for jobs, look for a cheaper apartment etc.

Since you have these issues I recommend getting into therapy. I get that you can't tell your family and that money is tight, but getting one hour of counselling short-term might be worth it. Once you are back on your feet with regards to money I really recommend getting into therapy and working on yourself.
