T H E R E M I N it's not vitamin niggu

Depends on contex

>A vintage, non-fender bass while singing in a post-punk or dreampop band
>Trumpet or double bass if you play jazz or bop
>Piano if you just play at parties to impress people
>F Horn if you're playing classical

This

cuica

Anything in a jazz band or orchestra is Veeky Forums
so is right

Idk but the least effay has got to be the ukelele.

definitely Harp.

>Horn for classical

This guy has it right

Drums

ah a fellow french horn player I see

itt:
>no my instrument is better!

Being an experimental luthier/ going full Moondog is most Veeky Forums.

What's cooler than an instrument nobody has heard before and only you alone can play?

The best instrument and the most "Veeky Forums" instrument is the piano. Nobody wants to hear a shitty horn

you wanna mess with dom mazetti?

Tenor sax is cool. :^)

Alto > bari > tenor >>>>> clarinet > soprano

Viola, so hip

Fuck!

Alto a shit, everyone plays it and it doesn't require any lung capacity. Tenor is smooth and beautiful.

playing an instrument is cringe
rapping is what the girls like

Cello or Piano

It’s true, I like to spontaneously get up and rap at parties. I’ve gotten laid 4 times this way

Bass
Guitar acoustic
Piano
T h e r e m i n

synth

guitar

Piano or Violin.

any non classical instrument is never Veeky Forums

>an instrument every frat boy learned how to play in order to get girls
please

get banned

Piano, and maybe, MAYBE guitar if it's a jazzbox.

Nah, piano.

Violin.

Violin or harp hands down.

I swear, Chet Baker was the most aesthetic musician when he was young.

The only appropriate guitar to play is a classical nylon string or some bigass jazz specific hollow body. Everything else is cringe

Fuck yes he was. Daily inspiration for how to rock classic fits.

f u

Bass

Glenn Gould

this

I have never read a more incorrect post in my life. Objectively
Tenor> Soprano > Bari > Alto

>tfw chose the play the accordion
I have piano as a backup I guess

accordion is cool and unique
my gma gave me hers and ive been trying to learn but its hard to teach myself :(
any tips? no one does lessons anywhere near me

Do you play any other instruments?
also pic pls

slide whistle

Hi fellow accordion players. What kind of accordions do you guys have? Mine is a cheap off brand piano accordion with 120 bass

the spoons

>accordion is and unique
Literally one of the most popular folk instruments in the world.

nothing at all that is EXCLUSIVE to a marching band cos they are tragic.
anything you find in a jazz setting is the way to go. the jazz players at music school were approx 5x more effay than us classical humaniods, probably cos the only clothes we ever spent money on were concert blacks. even the blind pianist made better clothing choices than almost all the classical students

french horn

i play guitar (self taught) and took a few piano lessons forever ago but i didn't retain much. i've been playing piano again recently but i mainly just use chords. the biggest dilemma with accordion is the bellows, there are TOO many and i cant memorize where they are or how to get to them quickly and i can't play two different things with my hands :(
mine is a bertini lux 120, its ~60 years old but my grandma had it refurbished before she gave it to me. i value it so much

yeah but how many people play it that aren't like 50+ and central european

what's wrong with fender basses?

Mexicans, South Americans, Africans...

Absolutely nothing. Fender basses sound great and are super versatile.

decent amount of accordion in classical new music

electronics @ modular synths etc or laptop

They’re the H&M of basses.

Damn right sir

noise pedals

Very cool, friend! Another question, do you like movies and/or vidya games? There's a lot of simple songs to learn from cinema and video games that can be very fun and rewarding to learn.

ze piano oder violin, my freund ja!

bari sax is best sax

doot doot

i like movies, not as much video games
so far ive tried to learn hallelujah which is pretty simple, i just have a really hard time putting together the left and right hands
i also tried learning the chicken dance for some reason but its too fast

Depends on the year, model, and country of origin. If you mean a new Fender, yeah it's probably an overpriced mediocre guitar. But if you're buying new you're already fucking up.

Guitar.
*Very portable
*Can play anywhere
*Even being a part of a shitty cover band can get you pussy

>all these hipsters
I don't even like rock music, but ripping a guitar solo is the most aesthetic

I found the alto player

No one can resist someone jazzing it up on the ivories brah

>playing Christmas songs on the piano at a church/charity thing
>mfw women shamelessly mirin' the entire time

youtube.com/watch?v=z8-PTPS03dk

this is the sound I always shoot for, lots of arpeggios and modes, lots of block chords and joocy chord progressions

I know you've probably heard it a thousand times, but just work yourself up in complexity. The easiest tracks for me are one inwhich the left and right hand change at the same time. I went from those, to just a little bit different each time, to a bit more etc. Sorry I can't help more user, just keep at it!
