Originally I was going to wear a turtleneck under the jacket and brown leather shoes but I couldn't find them in time. BUUUUUT, the DAK jacket was definetly on point, and goes really well when you take off the shoulderboards

Go for a plainer shirt, and go roll around in the dirt for a bit. I would opt towards grey whenever possible, makes the shift to black boots less jarring

Lose the cap and work out more, I'd consider losing the epaulets (or at least paint the gold buttons black) and getting a proper fashy haircut. Also don't wear this with a formal shirt, casual shirt at most, make sure it's not black, make sure your trousers are properly tailored
