Yup, that's what I wear. Can't go wrong with that military wool stuff. For anyone interested in a comparison: The Swiss wool trousers are the most beautiful because of their slightly aquamarine shade, which is beautifully textured and the old-timey piping. The Swedes are the most practical because of their roomy cut and well thought-out features like pocket closure and tab to hang them up to dry on. Some of the WW2 models still feel like new, just buy the right ones. Ankle straps make them a little more adventurous and you will stand out in social situations but they're great innawoods and very appropriate for an "eco-techwear" look, I guess. The Finnish model is the most suitable for everyday wear because of it's simple, elegant look, its relatively slim cut and the fact that it is available in quasi-black (very dark blue actually, but for all intents and purposes black). Newer models have polyester webbing pockets that will dry fast but are hell to keep your keys in, and some sort of rubber inlay in the knee/shin area to protect against the elements, which will possibly be a little noisy when you walk in them.

Anyone else got into this because it's the logical consequence of ecologically friendly second hand shopping?

Cool pattern 37 knockoff, mate

It's poking fun at Douglas Pierce of Death in June.

It's an improvement, not a knockoff.

well, boohoo

Great other than that though.

I don't know, man. Putting Siddhartha and the Dhammapada as the only two books implies a fundamentally and ridiculously flawed understanding of Buddhism. The shirt doesn't seem very suitable for "bush wear" either.

bump good stuff! Love the Junger reference.

Why live?

So you can experience the civil wars triggered by the coming collapse, of course.

Erik Bonde. Shot twice in ambush. Smoke a cig, bandage wound, go back to war. That's a manly man.

Woah, I look just like the guy second from the left and have almost the exact same outfit
