Would my boys The Shondells also work?

Where do you live that 60s vintage is easy to thrift? Genuinely curious.

North-west of England, near Liverpool

Damn. All that stuff over here goes for premium vintage prices. I've managed to find some good 60s-70s thrift in Alaska, though.

Yeah man, they're pretty groovy

Bummer, must be because the scene was a much bigger thing here

(when I say thrifted it still cost me like £30 for an old shirt)

The internet changed a lot over here, people started scouring thrift stores and charity shops to sell stuff on Etsy. Then the bigger thrift chains got wise and started marking up vintage and designer stuff.

Bastards

I genuinely love the mop top haircut

We're gonna settle this here and now, Veeky Forums.
Who's the best dressing member of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem?

I like the black/white striped shirt/jacket.

But in general I think this 60s psychadelic look is tough to pull off without it looking too much like a costume. Well it's more of a problem with loud colours/patterns than the subdued stuff anyway.

>it looking too much like a costume.
it is a costume

there's nothing wrong with that

True, sometimes I try to incorporate clothing from that era in a modern outfit so it doesn't look dated but that doesn't always work. I especially like material like velvet and corduroy and for that 60s clothing is great.

eh, where do you shop? First taste of vintage shopping I got was in London (even though I live in the North West) and it was all expensive and/or curated vintage stuff. Afflecks in Manchester is pretty good though.

christ, they all look so ugly
absolutely peak

W-wait are you trying to say that my tight leather pants will give me ball cancer???

looks like something out of Uniqlo

yeah man i hear old navy is good for this style as well
