It's not a good tattoo, and the placement is awful. But no one is going to fight him because he has a switchblade on his arm. People don't just fight others because of tattoos unless they're gangstas or white supremacists.

To be honest, I unironically, ironically worship the goddess Athena. I'm not Greek but I grew up in a very religious area, and I'm not religious. If they can have their god why can't I? The goddess of Wisdom and knowledge/ glorious victory in battle seemed like better perks than eternal happiness in heaven. It's autistic, but w/e. I also plan on getting script on the other leg, equations in physics etc. To contrast religion and science, physics/meta physics etc. I like the art of it.

That's pretty neat. I don;t care for christianity, but Joan of Arc gets a pass from me for pretty much being the patron saint of crossdressing and being hardcore at the same time.

Meh, I like it. As I said, I'm not religious but I believe in a higher power. I want to get the first law of thermodynamics, Newton's third, etc. To take up most of my thigh above my knee into a full piece. Like I said, I like the contrast of duality. The religious on one leg, and the equations that suggest our Universe didn't just 'pop' into existence. There has to be something else. That sort of thing.
As long as your skin isn't wrinkled, you're good. Just get something that's nice, not something trendy. Get something that is art. Whatever you like now, you won't like in 5 years, that's just the real of it. So make sure you get something that is timeless and well done, that way; even if you don't like the concept of the tattoo, you can appreciate the art and aesthetic it adds to your body. It's their forever, it might as well look good.

Rundown on tats? I'm not a huge fan of color unless they're deep. The lighter they are the quicker they fade, especially in the sun. I personally only like tats placed where they can't be seen in a business setting. So they only time people see them is in the sun. Your samurai would look good with a red theme, but Japanese tats are pretty limited.

The only things that comes to my mind are hands and neck, you can cover the rest I think.

My only tattoo is a neo tradtional flower. I got it on a whim one day, becuase I just felt like getting a tattoo. It's not my favorite style, but my flower isn't very big and I like it.

I personally wouldn't go below a half sleeve, or below my knee. It's just my personal preference. My tattoos aren't for everyone else, I only display the ones I want.
