How do I raise kids on this income bros?

Should I join one of those 4 month programming bootcamps? That could bring in some nice additional income, no?

Did you get a degree for that?

>YOU DON'T
PROTIPP!!!

Yeah... if you are running one of those bootcamps. I'm trying to get VC for my own; we will teach subsistence farmers in Zaire how to code and I will draw a $750,000 non-profit executive director salary from it.

>23
>havent had a job in 3 years

eat shit

>How do I raise kids on this income bros?

One: Kid, cause if you get more than one, they're not going to have the best childhood

two: you become very frugal. You get an apartment. You buy things only on sale, abuse the fuck outta coupons, buy from farmers markets, etc.

three: ditch the woman or get one that is extremely frugal, like what you will become.

Life feels like a race. Sometimes you're ahead. Sometimes your behind.

And in the end you realize your only competition was yourself.

Id kill for 37k a year

...

Im 22 and if i worked full time at my job id make 31k before taxes lol

I would like to hear more about this.

Don't worry op I'm worse. Hs dropout increasingly severe depression no therapy money
Dead within a year, running out if money homeless in 6 months

Eat rice and beans, buy ETH. Read books from library, find a way. You can do it user!

Most? you're kidding right?

>tfw lazy sleepy giant making 0 a year

>make 0k a year
>no dumbass expectations you have to follow like a slave
>freed from the hyper structured, cubicled-up modern life
>only money I have is spend on food, no home, no possessions that can be stolen, internet comes from free wifi hotspots

Keep running on that treadmill, sucker. I'm sure that when you buy enough stuff, someone will love you

interesting, how do keep warm and dry in the winter?

Resort to smoking heroin. One time, you'll feel like a billionaire.

dont chase the money you fool xD it is not about them numbers, it is not about comparing yourself to others. you know very well what it is about, face it and pursue your life interests ^^

>most other people my age are making AT LEAST 60k a year
on what fucking planet
are your numbers in pesos or rubles?

To be fair, that's really not awful. I'm a teacher and my salary is 42k right now. Though, I also get three months off every year and can pick up a summer job like summer school or tutoring to make an additional ~8k, putting me somewhere in the 50k range. Also, the benefits are awesome... not sure if you have benefits or not.

Anyway, I still don't think it's that terrible.

>Learn how to put on horseshoes
>Make 90k a year as a farrier
>Build a reputation and work on show horses in 5 years
>Make 200k a year as a farrier
>Get kicked by a show horse after 5 years
>Get lifetime disability + $1,450,00 in career earnings.

Actually, heroin addiction is what taught me to budget money.

No longer a heroin addict, obviously, but in retrospect, heroin addiction wasn't terrible. It was one hell of a learning experience.

I can still squeeze 3 dollars from every penny. That's what you've got to do to afford a $50/day habit.

> College
> 36k debt
> Get a job a week after I graduate
> Make 35k
> Work out of my car, but am always on call 24/7
> Shit sucks
> Moving us to hourly ($16.75)
I guess it could be worse. I still apply to 1 new job a day. I guess it's kind of turned into the lottery for me because they're usually jobs I'd have no chance of getting (150k+) but it's fun to imagine.
> 22 btw

Gonna be rich

Forever a poorfag, I guess :'(

So how old are you and whats your income? I recon you are the biggest failure here if you think thats a reasonable salary.

23 and 46k a year :^). Though to be 100% fair, I got super lucky with my job with no degree.

...You guys are aware that the median income for all age groups in USA is around $28k/year?

This is some of the whiniest shit I've ever seen.

That's including however many million have an income of $0 a year and the dozen or so million that legally have to claim their govt benefits as an income.

>22×2×1000 = 44k

Phew, assuming no raises I'll be safe till I'm 35. Sorry anons.

don't worry I'm 24

>25
>37K/yr

Whats the problem here? If youre not in STEM-core jobs and depending where you live, you are doing just fine

>getting a $1/hr raise every year

topkek

>37k a year

you are likely working an entry retail job

the only thing holding you back is your lack of ambition

there are so many jobs you could apply to that make more than that which only require a GED

No, I'm not going to spoon feed them to you.

Average raise is +$1.14 per year

>be 19

>1k from a bursary
Don't worry OP, some people are doing worse.

stop counting other peoples' money. You'll never be happy. I bet if you made 60k you'd still be mad that someone was making 70k.

>be 33
>wife is 34
>we both make about 75k each
>never have any money left at the end of the month

Should I just leave SF? Everything out here is killing us price wise but neither of our jobs can move with us and i don't think we would be able to get jobs right away.

Move to Oakland. Swear fealty to my set: 181 St. Ethereal Ballerz

SF isn't killing you; you're just dumb.

27 bacelor in electronics i speak 2 languages and served in th militery now i make 6k a year do you feal beter now ?

how do you not have a future, user? you're so young...

I don't know what to do. I feel like I just exist. I didn't ask for this

>hs dropout
>no GED
>senior programmer and systems architect
>make more than everyone here
wtf?

you all suck.

You can still pull it together. I was going to school to become a teacher and dropped out after failing my student teaching internship.

I became a total junk ball heroin addict waste of space for like three years before pulling it together, going back to school, completing the internship and eventually becoming a teacher.

It seemed impossible at the time, but it came together.

Take a few years off to do your own thing and get your head straight. (I don't recommend becoming a heroin addict unless you want to take the extra long and dangerous scenic route.) Then go back, finish up, and move the fuck on.

>How do I raise kids on this income bros?
>having kids
Kill yourself. And then kill them.

late 20s earning around $28725 a year working as an Accounting Technician. Feels bad man, but at least I'm on the right path, but I spent way too many years in shit jobs. Sucks to see people my age being promoted to high level managerial roles with salaries of around $60-80k but could be a lot worse I suppose

Dude
>24
>make $0/yea
>dropped out during my last semester due to severe depression

>24

i'm just gonna shotgun this money everywhere and see what sticks.

Live in the Central Valley or move to the coast or any number of cheaper locations.

>Yeah... if you are running one of those bootcamps. I'm trying to get VC for my own; we will teach subsistence farmers in Zaire how to code and I will draw a $750,000 non-profit executive director salary from it.

This is so fucking spot on it's sad.

Look at these bullshit 'non-profits'. Go to their websites and look at the people behind them. Nothing but greedy fucking opportunists who literally treat these as an ATM and have the nerve to ask you for $10 every time you visit their page.

This shit should be fucking illegal.
