There's a reason AA meetings are group projects. It's about making it through something together. That's why it was started. It was two guys who wanted to get sober but knew they couldn't do it alone. It's v personal. I don't wanna look at some jackoff in gimmicky sunglasses while I was telling everyone in the room about how hard the last couple weeks have been without a drink.
