communism was a mistake

>What went wrong?
Russia.
>Who fucked up?
Genghis Kahn
>Was life always so miserable?
Yes.

>What went wrong?
Communism
>Who fucked up?
Germany
>Was life always so miserable?
Always was, always will be

Socialism

>Genghis Kahn
by leaving some of them alive?

> Who fucked up?
Nicky II, of course.
> Was life always so miserable?
Actually, it wasn't as bad as it could be.

By making "Russians" feel like they needed to be part of a strong unified political entity.

Genghis Khan did nothing wrong.
He was a good horse archer.

It was founded on one of the worst political doctrines ever created.

>What went wrong?
Communism
>Who fucked up?
Communists
>Was life always so miserable?
No, life before communism was pretty good.

The fall of communism is the worst thing that ever happened to Russia. What was once a superpower became a third world shithole that is struggles to keep its former subjects inline.

Gorbachev

>Russian youtube poops

I've found a new level of irony

>life under Mongols
Great as long as you kept your head down.
>life under Tzars
Great as long as you're a Tzar or related to one. Otherwise you must endure miserable poverty.
>life under Bolsheviks
Great as long as you're a Party Member, otherwise enjoy your famines and conscription. Just be sure never to criticize comrade Stalin or else your will spend rest of life in Siberian gulag.
>life under the later Communist Party
Actually pretty shitty all around, but at least nobody is starving to death anymore!
>life in the Russian Federation
Basically the same as in the Communist Party, now with less national pride and more unemployment.

There was a time in the early 1960s just after the launch of Sputnik that was probably as close to a golden age the USSR had.

Read the book 'Red Plenty' by Francis Spufford for a better look at it

>Gorbachev

b4 g*rb, it was amazing and only mentioned the good things about it. They were telling me that everyone had to work and those who wouldn't, they would be forced. The pay was shit, but they didn't mind it since they lived happily.
Funny thing is that Lithuania, like other Baltic countries, was the most richest country in the USSR.

>says "everything was better in USSR
>streets were safe at night
>everyone got an education
>everyone had a job
>everyone got healthcare
>says she misses USSR and everything's shit now

From what I've heard from people who lived in the USSR, while you may have been dirt poor, at least everyone was equally dirt poor and had access to higher education and healthcare.

wow

people lived wealthier and healthier lives back in USSR, definitely not poor

Life was actually preddy good in ussr

Sure you didn't have Pepsi and Spearmint bubble gum and 'fashionable' murcan clothes, but you had actual food, not tainted by any corporate profit boosting chemical. Fish, meat, eggs, milk, bread, you name it. Shit was healthy, bottle of milk had only one ingredient - whole milk.

sex was as easy as any autist (we were all autists, this is eastern europe afterall...remember?) walking down the street to a random qt stranger and taking her to the sauna. simple, raw, juicy and sweatfully sweet.

fresh raw pussy and food was plentiful
