In your experience, how much does the average girl care about how effay you are? I want to dress like a k-pop superstar, but I also want to attract girls over the age of 15. Will this impact my Tindie game or approachability when I'm flexxin' in the club?

I know a 30 years old woman who's into asian guys
then again she's also a weeb

What women like and what Veeky Forums likes are two different things. I have received more compliments when I’m just wearing jeans, a long sleeve Henley, and some beat up boots than I have anything else

So (You) basically want to dress like a fag?

It's an interesting mix of hypebeast and weeb, and it suits me. I'm in my mid 20's though. How much longer can I pull it off?

Generally girls dont really mind as long as you take care of yourself a little bit like shaving, showering, ect. But a guy who trys to dress nice and has a good sense of style is always really popular

How tall are these guys? Generally asian people are short but these guys proportions make them look tall or are they actually tall?

practically everybody in kpop is short af

They are all between 5'9-5'11.

Do it. As a 21 year old that is too into this style, I approve.
Even if you're not into k-pop, I think anyone can appreciate the good style those guys have.

Wat do u mean, koreans are tall? Japanese are the ones who are short

They're tall af for Koreans. Shortest guy is 5'9 and they all shit on him for it.

>South Korea 20-24: 173.5cm
>Japan 20-24: 172.0cm

watch out, 5'8 GIANTS coming through

In my experience females never really care about what you're wearing but how it effects you. If you look like you care and you're confident in your clothing then you should be fine user. If a girl can't accept that you dress a little unorthodox then don't bother.

Thanks, user, this is solid advice and made me feel good. I'm going full Mic Drop-core from now on.

James corden is listed at 5'8 though he's probably actually around 5'6, and most of bts seem to be the same height as him or shorter except rm

Japanese womenswear companies make their clothes based on a 5'4" fit model while Western companies generally manufacture for 5'6".

The patrician choice

a grown man wants to look like a kpop star

fuck this website

I don't think the average girl in the US cares much about how effay you are

If you want to be attractive
be like a kpop idol

be hard working, be good at what you do, and just generally have a future

if you're a student have plans to have a career
if you have a job have plans to get a better job

K-Pop idols are grown men and they slay the pink, br0. What's the issue?

OP, I would do unspeakable things for a bf who dresses like Mic Drop era BTS or even Blood Sweat and Tears era. Hell, just dressing like Jungkook is enough, not even V tier. I think the general hygiene, good hair and face care, and being fit is what makes it so attractive.

>wanting to attract girls over 15

Hair? I'm thinking either Dope-core Jungkook or Boy In Luv-core Jimin. Leaning towards picrel desu.

very good choice

I like jk's Dope hair better

nobody cares if they're "tall for x race" when the white race is the standard

under 6'1 is short

If you make music or art and are embedded in a "scene" you'll probably become friends with girls who are into music and art too

>In your experience, how much does the average girl care about how effay you are?
It really depends what you mean by "effay" here

If you refer to being fashionable or wearing designer shit, then the straight answer is that most girls can' even tell a €500 shirt from its fast fashion ripoff equivalent. So being effay in that sense only directly helps you attract artsy girls who are themselves into fashion or other visual arts (and I can say it works quite well at that), but will not do much otherwise

Now if you question was rather "do girls care about the way I dress", then the answer is VERY OBVIOUSLY yes. I can guarantee you that you would have a substantially better chance of appealing to 80% of girls if you wore well fitted business casual instead of whatever you're wearing right now. Also I'm pretty sure that dressing like a k pop star will have the opposite effect

Too late bro, I already bought a bunch of bucket hats, bandanas, and Supreme headbands to go with my Mastermind Japan hoodie. I'm full /BTS/-core now.

Depends on how you age. I'd say once you hit 30 you should re-evaluate

Why are you even on this board?

>under 6'1 is short

spotted the 6'1 manlet. Anything under 6'2 is short these days faggot.

the problem is that if you appeal to the 80%" of girls while hiding your true self and interests will only harm you in the long run

I know someone who puts on a "Chad" mask and hides his interests to get girls, that only makes him abusive to those girls because he "blames" them for how he can't be himself

>The problem is that if you appeal to the 80%" of girls while hiding your true self and interests will only harm you in the long run
I agree. I personally dress like some sort of high end hobo and I know that it drives most girls away but I couldn't care less since those did not even interest me in the first place. In the end it was even beneficial for me, because at the same time I became more attractive to girls who are as much into arts as I am, which was my dream goal (and is kind of hard to achieve when you evolve in the worlds of law and finance like I do)

I was only replying to OP's question with an objective point of view based on my own experience. When I was dressing business casual, I had grills mirin even though I am a fucking turbomanlet. Because for most of the girls you cannot beat the appeal of a style that screams "I am successful, I have money and I am confident". But then again, it's up to OP to know whether he wants to dress to pick up chicks or whether he wants to express himself and try to send signals to the few girls who may have the same autistic interests as him

>inb4 "get over yourself faggot"
I was obviously merely referring to what kind of message good business casual conveys

kpop guys are perfect for young and unpopular girls, as they're so effeminate that they're not threatening but "cool" enough that they're not nerds, as well as the fact that they wear more makeup, have more surgery, preen their hair and take more selfies than the Kardashians.

You'll barely hear western women over the age of 15 talk about kpop. If they like any chink, it'll be some tall Hapa that looks like Alain Delon, or some asian Chad
Case in point
>when was the last time you saw a perfectly dressed kpop star in a women's magazine, vs the 10 million photos of shirtless Chris Hemsworth or closeups of Michael Fassbender in a sweaty cowboy shirt
>20 million photos of a beast like Jason Momoa or Liam Hemsworth wearing absolute basics, yet every girl knows who they are and probably has a crush
Most women don't like kpop starts, most people find their effeminate, fake, generic songs and soulless manufactured image unpleasant. Even when they're wearing absolute god-tier outfits, the fashion world barely pays attention to them and Veeky Forums only likes them because they seem relatable and accessible because they're not 6'3" joocy Chads
