Do the strikers games really have lots of lag in shmupmame? Can't say i've noticed much in strikers 1945 as i close in on a 2-all but some user claimed it was really bad?

It's not a feature, it's a problem of them being old and not coded very well. Grab the vsync patch and stop listening to /jp/.

a lot of wr holders use vsync patch, it is not really covered by the rule on royalflare (or not enforced)

I've heard people say that the games run smoothly on contemporary hardware, but I haven't actually been able to find any confirmation to that. Regardless since the only Touhous I play have no input lag by default, this shouldn't really concern me.

Finally made it into stage 6 in Dodonpachi. Died before I could manage to get the second extend though. I think I just need to get a bit more consistent overall.

Still trying to get the hang of the 2nd half of stage 3 fultra. It's pretty brutal, much harder than anything in stage 1

I'm trying to decide what game I'm going to focus on while waiting for the next Cave port. Thinking of Batrider.

I hate how I was able to do a no miss of stages 2,3, and 4 the first time I did God Mode but now I can't get past the first boss without getting purple to the face.

Do you scroll one of his arms offscreen? If you don't do that in Ultra the first attack is a lot harder.
