Same. There were what, 8 sets in Halo 3? Being able to switch out chest, shoulders, and helmet for all of them gave enough variety. I just want some old school utilitarian armors

I'm curious as to what people mean by Reach tier.
I liked the customization in 4 purely due to the fact that there was skins for armor and that you could change the whole forearm and leg pieces.
Give me some insight as to what reach tier means.

It means you can swap out one or two bits, not too much, not too little

I'd like being able to choose arms, legs, chest, and helmet.
Would allow for much more variety and none of the armors connect in a way that would make that hard I think.

Hell, the armors are definitely segmented enough to let you swap parts

forge/filebrowser/custom serverbrowser would give h5 a huge advantage and I know that I would play it more often. Lets look at that indie game "murder miners" for example, it was shit. But I played it like a faggot due to a serverbrowser and the possibility to play customs with randoms and it was fun, it shit gameplay wise but it was still fucking fun. And halo needs that. Halo needs fucking content.

343i has done a lot of disappointing stuff but what have they done that you actually like?
I like a lot of the extended lore they've done for background details. It's fun to read about that, especially the armor flavor text.

Then weapons hold up nicely, though I feel like they just gave up on making more promethean weapons after 4

Also forgot to add, that the Promethean weapons can now sorta function as their own thing, instead of just being blatant copies of guns we already have

They still don't really scream "this is a weapon made to fight flood" still.
Actually in 4 they seemed more made to fight flood than they do in 5.

I feel that the scattershot and supressor are pretty anti flood, what with the homing projectiles and the scattershots ricochet

Homing projectiles that don't home very well are silly for targets that are running straight at you. Just shooting a fuckload of shots like in 4 at close range seemed to make more sense.
