Bloodborne had much worst pvp I can assure you. Invaders were always at a health disadvantage no matter what and chalice gems made it to where people could farm for hours and get extremely OP pvp weapons regardless of there level. DS3 pvp is way, way better than BBs.

Dark or Chaos infusion for my pyromancer? Dark seems like the better choice since I already shit fire everywhere, it's weaker but only just.

Are there even any unique weapons that scale well for a pyromancer, or are you pretty much best off with Chaos/Dark infused normal shit?

You can hit them if you time it just right, but its hard. Theres like a .5 second frame between 70% rolls that leave you open.

Learning to hit that will make you a god at PvP

Getting DS3 today for PC. Total newbie here, never played a Souls game before.

I got the following tips:
- Start out with a Knight
- Put lotsa points in Vitality/Strength/Vigor. Is this right?
- Take things slow, explore.
- Roll

Any other beginner tips? Weapon upgrades and shit?

Gemless FCs in BB were much better than the FCs in DaS3, and hosts in DaS3 still have a health advantage. At least in BB, the host could Blood Bullet to even their health with phantoms.

Still does better damage than straight stats for a pyromancer unless you pump STR or DEX to unnecessary levels.

Lay down a red summon sign as while embers and you retain the health buff. I believe you only are at a health disadvantage when you invade using the red eye orb, which isn't true pvp anyways imo, compared to duels or fight clubs using the red sign.

If you get summoned through a red sign you keep your ember buff. If you're doing FCs why would you not use the red soapstone?

Good luck finding gem less fight clubs though and host willing to cut your own health. Your not at a disadvantage in DS3 if you use the red summon sign while embered.

How much do you generally receive per invader kill at the kiln?
I just got 7k, which is way more than usual, so I'm worried about hacking. Encountered at least two hackers today, and the damn cheat engine's just released.

The only bosses that I'd say are even remotely hard even with a summon is Nameless King and Dancer at low level.

The HP limitation can be a huge pain.

it's not very hard to hit out of a roll if you time it well, but it's ABSURD how effective just mashing circle is at keeping you alive when you REALLY should be dead twice over

Timers were shit and gankers/host already have every advantage anyway.

I also think the truth is probably closer to "you tried to gank him, he ran into the level and hid, then you couldn't use the bonfire, so you got super salty."

How every co-op session goes:
One of them hits boss to draw aggro
Other one hits the boss in the back to draw aggro
If one gets hit, they roll backwards 50 times until aggro is gone, estus then go back
Repeat

Virtually no boss in the souls games is able to effectively target more than one person, most bosses will spend half the battle slowly turning around to face whoever's hitting them in the back.
