according to my playtime, it took me 30 hours to go from rank 5 to rank 6. Just make sure to do missions everday and do the 130 dungeon and then transition into the 145 dungeon. When you hit 155 you can start questing + using cards and you'll reach rank 6 easily

Just tested. I have 60% bonus to defense when I block.

I have only 295 defense on my Cata. With 50% it should only go up to 442.5.

But it goes up to to this value.
