Just started EOU2, classic mode, how's this party:

Female Highlander - Ophelia
Beast- Rum-Rum the Bear
Ronin- Bronn
Sovereign- Yu
Gunner- Leon (has the russian portrait)

The names are all pretty meh aside from Rum Rum and Leon.

Mainly trying to get feedback on the party composition.

I've never used a Highlander in EOU2, but Ronin and Gunner are so good that you should be fine.

I'm not a fan of Ronins, but it seems like a good party. You might have a bit of trouble with healing though, especially outside of battle in the early-mid game.

I mean relative to EOV. Aside from the necrololi and excluding the brownies she's one of the only other girls that is close to being a loli. The only other one I can think of is the dummy bunny. I wouldn't actually consider them to be lolis because they lack the body type and just have tits that are bit on the small side, but with the available options you gotta be a smudge the line a bit.

Mapping is fun.
I avoided the series for a while because I thought it would be annoying, but I actually really enjoy drawing maps.

God-tier music, very damn high difficulty, mapping, the atmosphere, great and challenging boss fights (this is the main drawback for me).

i love the character customization and skill system, the music is fantastic and the character and monster designs are nice
the 3ds games also set a fantastic mood and get me totally immersed during certain boss battles

Because they're just flat out good classic style rpgs. You get a nice sense of progression with skill trees, you have a bunch of different classes and that further split into different specializations, so you can find what has good synergy, and every battle(at least when you are at the intended levels) requires you to be plan accordingly because even just grinding levels won't help you much if you don't have the proper strategy.

I like the art and I like drawing maps, I also prefer turn-based combat over anything else.

So I'm playing EOIV for the first time - first EO game too. Would a Nightseeker be able to supplement for a Runemaster or Sniper? I want to have a balanced team, but I'm really not sure what's the most optimal formation.

My current team consists of:
>Front
Landsknecht and Dancer
>Back
Sniper and Medic and Runemaster

Pretty hard to fuck up composition without repeating classes in that game. Yeah, you could happily stick a seeker up front if you like. What's harder is skill tree selections, so get ready to hit that rest button at the guildhouse now and again.

Something you'll learn quickly is that you need to get the skills which mitigate damage. The game will throw enemies who decimate your front row and you want to be binding or ailing or otherwise reducing that. Out and out offence builds only become viable at mid to high levels.

Would I be fine omitting the Runemaster, then?
